      Good post - Dr. Ali is a wise man. His book Canary and Chronic Fatigue is a good read. For me the issues were parasites which included worms but the most damaging are the protozoa.       Its so strange, we have identical symptoms, yet I dont sleep and you sleep lots! I need some of your parasympatheticness :) ... ... I never tried hormones as such, but did use Isocort for a while...it definitely gave me more energy, but I was shot gunning them on advice from a bad ND...like instead of being told not to go mountain biking, I would go and take a bucket load of isocort to keep me going. I think the insomnia all starts with high cortisol, I was going to sleep ok but waking 3-4 hours later with my mind worrying about everything...it just went downhill from there. Interestingly the ASI test I did about 8 months after it all started, showed very low all day then in range before bed. ... ...             Hi Wiredgeneration ... LOL that you said that aobut the low cortisol. I use to have this issue with sleep even when I was low. SO chances are I was normal to slight high during the evening..This was before I knew about all these tests. ... Now I take 200-400mg magnseium and I am out form 10 pm-6:30am with out any bathroom breaks. But I am in parasymnpathetic now. I was in sympathetic and boy my adrenlin would not shut off. Now it is just straight line. Plus when I get a little rush come on (Not often) I can feel it and control it. wow I have come a long way,,but long way to go :) ... ...               Just by making that bridge you have done amazingly, such an inspiration! ... ... I long for the parasympathetic like I long to be able to practice Karate again! I have terrible reactions to magnesium to cant really take it, if i take it at night it gives me restless legs..I use the oil daily, but it makes me sweat and crash heavily most of the time. :(   [End]

I do add sea salt to everything but havent drank it for a while so will give it a go....I pee every 20-30 minutes anyway,but ill monitor it more when trying more magnesium!       I never was on Cortef, but I can say that Florinef was one of the worst experiences of my entire life. Marie would know better than me on this subject, but I have heard from many about the nasty side effects of HC- bone issues, worsened immune deficiencies, and atrophied adrenals. I know some people with Addison’s absolutely need it, but that’s pretty much for them to stay alive. No one ever says that they were doing jumping jacks while on it. ... ...           Thanks for the imput....it’s really intriguing the reactions people have to cortisol replacement. Some say it’s a lifesaver - others talk about getting other symptoms! ... ...           Oh yeah that stuff was horrible. I took it for three weeks and decided that I would rather suffer than take another one. It made my hands and ankles swell like I had elephantitis! It was painful to walk. Plus it made me even more dizzy than I already was, and made me feel like everything was bloated and full, including my brain! HBBJ sea salt was a life saver   [End]

    I have fibromyalgia, candida and hormone imbalances. When I use progesterone cream (which really helps with my pain) I get really dry eyes and bleeding vaginal ulcers (confirmed by a Dr). I am positive it is the progesterone doing it. If I lower my dose of progesterone I am in more pain than if I don’t. Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions? ... ...       I know exactly what you are looking for. I found a doctor in Squrriel hill just out side of pittsburgh. She is an MD, so she perscribed my diflucan and anything else you need. And also is an ND. Also does the metametrix test as well and the genova tests. Her name is Franny Berez. google her, not hard to find. Believe me she believe in Candida and parasites because she had them herself. She will also perscribe what you think your body is telling you it needs. ... ... she listens very good.   [End]

I am familiar with Dr Wilson and my current nutrition (basically an anti-inflammatory, paleo type diet) is similar to his recommendations, but probably a few tweaks I could make. ... ...       Yeah, I don’t believe it’s not normal to get it either. I know the raw vegans don’t get periods and they’re all happy with it and think it’s normal because their bodies are ”healthier”.         I haven’t had this experience, but I know things got messed up when I went on thyroid meds for a bit. Anything that messes with your hormones (and you have two things doing that) can create this kind of thing. It is good to ask around, but you may have to give it a month for things to settle.        Hormone replacement therapies, including the so-called bioidenticals are not the way to go since they do have numerous side effects, including shutting down the body’s own hormone production.       How long has it been since you discontinued the progesterone? When I first started on bio-identical progesterone, it sent me silly. I got such anxiety and heart palpitations that after 6 weeks i discontinued it.       Calm down, don’t panic. 25 mg of dhea is not that much and you only took it for two weeks. Maybe it doesn’t agree with you and you can see how you feel after stopping it; but I don’t think it would have caused much harm up to this point. There may be other things going on as well.             Whoa slow down with the pills! First you take androsterone now you want to pop estrogen ? Stop it all together ! Look into the natural kidney flush and drink tons of pure water and eat a high nutrient dense diet or a juice or green drink fast for a few days!                 I agree with Justin, to stop the kind of things you have been doing. Maca is a stimulant, not what you need. If you have a little money I would go for an acupuncture treatment and tell them some of your history along with current situation.       HRT is very toxic to the liver. I would not recommend it to anybody. There are homeopathic remedies that you can take that will help your body to produce the right levels of estrogen, and progesterone. I spoke to my dr today and he says this is because of chemical exposure in the past. he suggested having 5 days break then going onto half the dose for 2 weeks. he didnt explain himself, ending our conversation quite quickly.
