I can fully relate, I have cried a river of tears, just when I think I have made progress, ha there they are back, sick of being sick. Trying to stay positive is all consuming. Yes David, eating enough raw garlic to kill all the worms in your body, lymph, and blood, and other organs will make you smell pretty bad. It also takes a long time, took me 2.5 months of almost daily consumption the first time, but I passed hundreds of worms. Because I didn’t do maintenance, they came back, and I experimented with herbs, and I posted about my experiences here, which herbs, doses, and my eperience. I am taking Quatrefolic (Vitacost brand) (2) 800 mg. It takes awhile for the body to adjust so don’t get discouraged. I have heard good things about Metafolin and Quatrefolic. Some other great brands are Whole Health Centers Folate Support, Methyl Life, and Seeking Health. I had the hardest time keeping weight on my whole life and now that I am taking this Folic Acid, the weight is staying and I feel much better. Hey there, I also have had acne for most of my life, yes you are right that taking the anti-biotics will make things worse in the long run and is probably the worst thing doctors can prescribe for acne next to accutane. I actually took accutane a long, long time ago and had no idea how harmful it could be who knows what consequences from that I may still be suffering and it didn’t even work, cleared up the acne for about a year then it came back. I am certain you are doing much better since your current diet is probably much better than the way you ate before. However, your diet could use some adjustments as well. The dairy, I would say, has got to go as well as the olive oil. The oil is not in its natural state. It has been removed from the fruit and is pure fat, which can contribute to acne. Candida is present in everyone’s body. You can’t kill it. You can, however, return it to normal levels. The only thing that has helped me is a low fat 100% raw vegan diet. After what I’ve read up on dairy I’ve learnt to stay away from it and have actually stopped drinking milk for much longer than I have started the candida diet, although cheese as well as protein shakes was big on my favourite foods list which may have contributed to my acne. ... ... I too took accutane and it worked, until I went off. finally i figured out what to avoid. the betaine hcl allows me to eat a candida diet, which I couldn’t do before without breaking out from the veggies. it’s quite inexpensive compared to many supplements. the skin prick test worked for me for food intolerances. another allergist explained I only have two actual allergies, as defined by science. so the skin prick test revealed my intolerances and allergies. the blood tests did not. if money is a concern I don’t think you need to do the skin prick test. just research what people c ...

You seem to know a lot already! It’s true that emotional problems can sometimes be the cause of physical problems or vice versa and then they keep going around and around lol! I’ve never had a huge problem with acne.. i didn’t used to have one at all! I fasted for about 18 days and did not have good results at all. For a few days had increased energy but then as I got about a week into was just feeling weak and sick. Took me months and months to fully recover my energy, none of the short term health benefits lasted long-term. Now I realize that my body type is not meant to do long water fasts, other people can do them and feel great during and afterwards. Although consuming enough calories is important when one is very active, calorie-restriction has absolutly nothing to do with your symptoms. Adult acne, especially male, and oily skin, is almost always a candida issue. That means your liver is congested also, due to the candida toxins being released. DHEA converts into testosterone in women, whereas in men, it converts into estrogen. These hormones are androgens. If you have acne then it is from acids. The diet must be changed to alkaline and I would suggest bentonite asap. Once diet is changed and the bentonite is taken once, twice maybe three times daily for a couple of weeks,the acne will disappear like magic to be replaced by a healthy glowing skin. [End]

No need to take probiotics if the colon is a mess, try taking the bentonite with psyllium and the psyllium will cause the good bacteria to grow while the bentonite clears out the bad and any yeast overgrowth. Take it until improvement occurs then drop to a level that will maintain colon health.. Avoid all acid foods, all junk foods, all dairy,wheat, and fried foods. Limit meat intake, improve vegetable and raw food intake. Avoid MacDonalds like it was the black plague. [End]

Hello, I am new to the forums and I have some questions about P and B shakes. I was diagnosed with candida about 6 years ago and have been in an ongoing battle with it ever since. I started my 3rd candida cleanse about 3 weeks ago. I’m using Nystatin for the first time and I’ve had some terrible die-off sickness with it. You’re very likely to end up much worse if you continue this route without proper elimination and a good liver-care regimen. I myself failed miserably on this diet because I was constipated and I wasn’t taking care of my liver, causing a constant reabsorption of die off toxins. ... Thanks so much for the reply. I have decided to give the charcoal a try first and see if it helps. I’ll also be looking into purchasing an enema kit today. Do you have any suggestions on dosage and method of ingestion (pills or powder) for the charcoal? Should I incorporate some psyllium husk in to help with elimination? I have tested positive for leaky gut, is psyllium husk powder safe to use in this case, and if not what could I substitute? [End]

For intensive cleansing, I’ve used up to 5 Tbsp a day of activated charcoal powder, 1 Tbsp at a time. I’ve found that Zeolite powder was also very beneficial, but it is very expensive. Psyllium husk is a great addition, but some have problems with it. Drink a lot of water when you take it. Ground flax seeds can replace it. [End]
