Dear Chris, ... ... The main thing is to be comfortable. As mentioned in my book, I recommend that you lie on your back with your head raised and supported by a pillow or two. Gatorade basically is water, with both glucose and sucrose-fructose syrup added. Dear PJ, ... ... All five are related to the same two things. 1. Vata (air) is moving upwards, causing backflushing of waste matter, toxins, bacteria, acids, etc. into the stomach, chest, throat, tongue, face, scalp, and hair folicles. 2. The lymph drainage from the reproductive organs and those tender parts of the body does not remove all the daily-generated, acidic metaboliic waste products and dead cells. It would be good to do another flush. If you use apple juice, it would be good to add some malic acid to the juice. Or if you use malic acid for the preparation because you cannot tolerate apple juice, you may use cranberry juice and as much malic acid in it as you can tolerate, for 6-8 days . Make sure to have a colonic on the day of the flush. Unless you are prone to nausea, you can increase the dosage of the oil mixture by one third the normal amount. Yes, you are doing the correct thing. The intestinal obstructions (waste accumulation) have led to backflushing of waste, toxins, bacteria, acids, mucus, bile and dead proteins into the chest, throat, tongue, eyes and scalp. At the same time the resulting lymph congestion in the cysterna chyli vessels and thoracic duct (see illustrations in my book, The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush for details)prevented proper drainage of metabolic waste products and turned-over eyes cells from the eyes.
