I’ve been high raw and a part of the online raw food community since 2009, but recently I’ve discovered that I have an endocrine disorder which causes severe insulin resistance and uncontrolled hormone imbalance. This would explain why the past 3+ years I have had an increase of symptoms on a low fat high carb lifestyle. According to positive research findings I need to be eating a high fat, low carb diet. In fact, ketosis is proven to control symptoms, so vegetables would have to be the only source of carbs in my diet. Although raw foods are the probably the healthiest foods available, nothing will help someone that is too far gone, simply because digestion is too weak and pathogens will keep surviving whatever you do. The best way out of it is to give the digestive and immune systems a rest from all that digestion that requires energy and distracts the body from fighting the critters.   [End]

Cancer is caused by toxicity and acidosis so it makes perfect sense to destroy the immune system with even more acids and toxicity. Those chemicals come in packages that say on the sides warning carcinogen! What kind of insanity is that, especially since chemo is a proven healer of cancer in about 1% of the cases and the other times it may go away only to return as it did in the more publicized case of Farah Faucett. In addition to the other suggestions above I’d like to recomend seeking out a Tradition Chinese Medicine practitioner who is experience in treating cancer. You can phone the local TCM professional associations and ask for recomendations. I am currently under treatment by a TCM practitioner (not in the USA) as he has helped a family friend overcome prostate cancer and a relative from lung cancer. They can also work in conjunction with oncologists to support the immune system if the parents of the child decide to go down that road again.   [End]

The more simple the carbohydrate, the quicker it will feed the candida, so of course any type of sugars will feed it the quickest, then refined carbohydrates like white flour would be next followed by other grains and starchy vegetables like potatoes. But just because something feeds candida doesn’t mean you can’t eat it and still keep yourself healthy. Exactly correct, in fact candida cannot live at all in a body that is in a healthy state. Once you are completely healthy, candida will be gone and not the other way round. The biggest mistake people make is to think that once they eliminate candida, then they will be healthy and this is just not true, first make your body healthy, then candida cannot grow regardless of how many carbs and sugars you eat.   [End]

Thanks for your reply Doc. I am about 80/20 too, but my 80/20 is different than yours. My 80 is raw/cooked healthy food and my 20 is bad junk food like Pepsi, sugar products etc.;) I hope to get where you are some day. I’m surprised that I am not a diabetic considering the way I eat sometimes. About a month ago I went to one of those mini clinics at a CVS pharmacy to get checked for diabetes as I wanted to be sure. They say a lot of people walk around with it and don’t know. They did an A1C test and told me with a test result of 5.3 that I was far from being a diabetic. Thanks Doc. He truly is an inspiration. I found myself praying that he would someday be talking about Jesus instead of a higher power. I need these inspiring videos to help me. My diet is probably, I’m guessing, 80 per cent healthy. It got there through listening to inspiration like this. The internet has been a wonderful blessing. I have a way to go yet, however, I doubt I will ever be 100 percent. The Bible does say to eat what is set before you. If I can get the bad part down to just those times when I am served it by others I would be happy. Thanks for posting.   [End]

Hi Rainy, ... ... Glad you liked it. I think he posts here too, I just usually see juicer demos, but he has a few web sites. ... ... Yes, Thanksgiving would be a challenge. I think when the Bible says to eat what is set before you, the food was already all organic, whole, unprocessed etc. Now we have half of the things that are poisoned, so when possible (which is most of the time) we can eat whatever we choose, within our budget. There are some videos on making organic fruits and vegetables more affordable too, by buying wholesale, at farmer’s markets, growing your own, etc. ... ... I have a friend, very traditional medical model, who will have his colon completely removed on Tuesday. When I met him almost 3 years ago, all he thought about was his cancer returning (prostate and colon) and dying. I distracted him with dancing, but didn’t impact him too much with alternative health information. Anyway, his colon will be completely removed on Tuesday. He only weighs 140 pounds and what I am hearing is he will now only be able to eat crappy food (white bread, etc., no fruits and vegetables. I’m concerned about nutrition and his survival. "It's surprising how many persons go through life without ever recognizing that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves, and if you're not comfortable within yourself, you can't be comfortable with others."
