There is a book in amazon on it, but I suggest you find a practitioner who already knows how to do it. If you can’t buy some rare earth magnets and get someone to help you.       Have you tried thymol and/or its close relation, carvacrol? It’s a compound found in lots of savory herbs like thyme, oregano, sage, etc, with really impressive anti-fungal properties and its effective against lots of different pathogens of other varieties as well.     Hi, I started Paleo completely about three days ago. I eliminated grains, beans, white sugar and dairy. I have mostly been eating cooked vegetables, salad, meat, eggs and 1 fruit per day. I do feel I have lost weight, my clothes feel looser. I started to feel full for longer periods and yesterday I really noticed that my tummy just felt stuffed way into the night and past bedtime.         Thanks so much! Good to know I’m not alone in feeling this way. The worst part is the doctor acts like you’re making it all up because of the normal blood sugar readings. ... ... I will definitely try to add back in a few more complex carbs that you suggested. So far, I have been able to tolerate raw, organic almond butter with no sugar, hummus, and most all vegetable carbs except potato and corn.           You don’t need to juice fast, just adopt a temporarily vegan diet to cleanse yourself of the toxic build-up in your liver and kidneys and where ever else. ... ... I just happened to juice first, partly from seeing the juicing documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, and it happened to work very quickly for me.       Hey Dayvan - you sound alot like me. I’m hypoadrenal and hypothyroid and am losing weight fast too. Who said hypo’s generally put on weight and can’t lose weight?!! ... ...         Thank you very much for your reply. I didn’t worry too much about my high calcium because my doctor ”ok’d” it, I guess because it was only .1 outside the normal range. But even still, it makes sense that this is what could be causing me problems. It’s interesting that hyperparathyroidism can cause Osteoporosis, as I do have a few teeth that have cracked, but have not had the money to get them fixed. ... ...           PTH is the hormone the parathyroid’s excrete. I’m sure you should be able to get that tested without having to travel to Tampa. ... If your PTH levels show elevated (look on their tampa website to get an idea of TRUE reference ranges for normal PTH production - or email them) - the guys at tampa have excellent scanning diagnostic tools - the best in the U.S apparently to see if one of the glands has overgrown and producing PTH hormone like mad! ... ...       Hmmm sounds like a quick fix in a desperate moment but I’m not too sure that taking benedryl on an ongoing basis like that would be very healthy IBM the long run. It’s still a pharmaceutical and an unnatural substance. List of people end up with AF because of long term use of NSAIDs, pain killers, and other medications. Sounds counterproductive to me. I drink a well steeped catnip tea at night and it knocks me out pretty quickly.   [End]

      Keep in mind that diphenhydramine is also a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. This makes it act something like Prozac. ... ... So don’t also take 5-HTP. 5-HTP can be used to help one get to sleep, but it provides building blocks for serotonin. Taking 5-HTP with a serotonin reuptake inhibitor may result in serotonin syndrome.   [End]

      Cool! Tolerance to antihistamines builds up quickly, but they have helped me sleep at times too. You may have to get a rotation, 1-2 weeks on, 1-2 weeks too. ... ... Could be its helping you do to its SSRI effects, or as a histamine block. Histamine intolerance is another possibility.   [End]

      You have probably looked into high/low histamines. Looks like you are high histamine since you do well with anti-histamine (benadryl). Do the high histamine foods set you off? ... ... I believe this will help a lot of people I would like to add that sometimes, not just being wheat-free, but grain free is also helpful (at least for me).       Some say Af’s should be rotated every six weeks. ... ... In discussions about this topic, I have never read where foods which have AF properties and are part of a diet protocol are considered for such a rotation: like broccoli, onions, spinach, etc....though trying to keep a diet as varied as possible can’t be a bad thing but, not due to the AF qualities.       I have spent 1500 dollars in hormones etc testing before doing hair analysis. Get the hair analysis and do NB, its the only hope. When you do all kind of Glutathione Reduced, Thyroid Antibodies, Reactive Protein, Alpha Linoleic Acid tests with naturopaths theres not much hope only assloads of pills, antioxidants, l-glutamine, levothyroxine, synthyroid and supplements that wont cure or even improve your condition because its a a systemic problem and the whole body its affected. I was diagnosed by Conventional DR’s with Auto-Immune Addison’s disease in 2009, on 3 different meds including hydrocoritosne, fludrocortisone, and synthroid.         I had low stomach acid but I seem to have gotten rid of it by taking coconut oil and lemons for 1.5 day. I still get the instant bloating and I did even when taking betaine hcl. I am 80% sure it is not stomach acid related as I had been taking all the stomach acid enhancing supplements for a while and my bloating + other symptoms did not stop.   [End]

Currently I’m doing the South Beach diet, and am avoiding sugar and eating low carb-ish. I’m also gluten free, and dairy free.           Anything that actively moves energy in the body. For example trance meditation (leading yourself into a state of mind awake/body asleep) will naturally open energy channels, tactile imaging (which is where you imagine feeling tactile sensation such as massage etc to move energy) works very well, visualization works for some but never worked for me, horse stance, tai chi, basically anything that brings awareness into the body with intention to move energy. you definitely want to focus on grounding to the earth.             also don’t forget the amazingly powerful hot-cold water therapy. You can do it right in your shower: just go from very hot but tolerable water to as cold as you can make it. Shout, scream, cry, jump up and down, express whatever you feel, just do it for 1 minute then go back to hot water and relax, do it for 1 minute then go back to cold water. Do this for 6 or 7 rounds and I guarantee you it will lift ANY depression... because depression is simply stuck energy and hot/cold water therapy will definitely move something :) ... ...       If you haven’t already tried it, you might want to consider adhering to a very strict sleep-wake schedule for a while to see if it helps. Some people are very sensitive to shifts of even a couple hours in bed or wake time, even if it’s just on weekends. It can cause brain fog and irregular mood swings in some people that persist for days after.   [End]

              Thanks for the replies. ... ... No its not really a diet and more of a fast. I added redskins and brown rice as the first addition. That’s more nutritional with energy. It has protein in it. The key is not having beans with it...or meat. I think proteins and fats are the worst thing for this diet. As much as we want to cut sugar, carbs are necessary. I’m making flavored mashes with chicken stock, baked onions, shallots and garlic. Flavoring the brown rice the same way. It’s been a good several days on that.
