Thank you, Angel of Eventide! I’ve known for years the catalyst for my having candidiasis was from a measles immunization and a tetanus shot in the hospital after the birth of my son in 1988. Within 3-4 years I was having candida symptoms but I didn’t at that time know what was going on. I’ve always avoided stuff like this and I’ve never had a flu jab. Funnily enough as I was reading this the news came on explaining the government are worried enough at risk people haven’t had their flu jabs this year. I have a friend who never had any through school and to this day has never had a jab and despite his somewhat terrible diet , smoking and night owl lifestyle he’s probably the healthiest person I know !. ... ... My theory on the Squalene is that it does not leave the body via means like chelation. I don’t think it’s a metal, as it’s found in different animals. Then they tweak it in the lab make it into a Frankenmonster kind of thing. It may have to be leached out somehow though. All I know is, the new ND I’m seeing has me on these German homeopathic cleansing things for my lymphs, kidneys and liver and I’ve been herxing big time. Been reading more on Squlene and it is not a heavy metal, so I don’t think chelation would work on it. It is considered a chemical and occurs s a fat or precursor to cholesterol. I guess whatever they morph it into in the labs is what counts. More research to be done. [End]

My hormones were clearly messed up at a year and 2 years post Mirena. But the last test looks like they are finally balancing!! This OB said if I’m getting regular periods, my hormones are fine. Not sure if I believe that exactly, but it really doesn’t look like it could be my hormones or thyroid at this point. . . ... ... Hi melanderso, I just had an appt with my rhem and she had me do these tests again. I actually had like 15 tubes of blood to test for many things. I’m waiting on the results and praying that everything is normal. I also just had my yearly physical and my according to my PCP my hormones are at a post premenopausal level, but according to my OBGY it’s because I’m nursing. so I dont know who to believe. My PCP is more of a homeopathic and believes in prescribing the natural before prescribing drugs and he believes that mirena can be very dangerous. Rhem wants me to go get a head MRI also to ... I’m anxious to hear your results, too. Maybe us ”old timers” can get some answers! The OB I saw said that since Mirena hormones only last 5 years, they should be completely gone now since my insertion was 5 1/2 years ago. I wish that is true. I have actually had TWO NORMAL CYCLES in a row! They were 28 days, with PMS (which I had at ovulation instead all these years) cramps, (again, which I’ve had at ovulation), and even my skin has gone back to being oily in the T-zone. ... ... Im vegan 12 days now and trying to be alkaline but I apparently sinned big time yesterday as my ph stick shows highly acidic. My sins: berries with granola and 2 glasses of wine at dinner. I know It can go back today but in the scheme of things how bad is this? I quit my plaquenil as a test 3 days ago (stops autoimmune flares) and so far no flare!!!! Also, I have to travel for 3 days with no access to fresh veggies during the day - all restaurants with limited food. All the nuts have oils,all the bars have sugar and nuts. Im doomed. Oh, I don’t know what school of thought you are influenced by but you’re gonna be okay. Up that water intake. You could always bring a small cooler with some fruits and veggies. Also you can look into buying a tub of VEGA, it’s a whole meal replacement.. I get the vanilla chai and it’s real good. It has fiber and protein and enzymes and probiotics and greens and the list goes on... ... ... Do you feel fine? Then you’re ok. If you had symptoms I’m sure they would be totally manageable. I would just keep in mind that more than a few people I’ve read about weren’t able to do more than control the yeast through diet until they took care of the underlying issue causing the yeast problem. I would check for parasite using the Metametrix GI test - use panel #2105. Parasites are very hard to detect but this test is superior to any other test. I would also check vitamin D3 status, check or treat for heavy metals, make sure I was using nutritional support and use detox methods for metals and environmental poisons. The point I wanted to stress is that a person can improve their digestive functions and be much improved but the damage to the intestine can continue if they have autoimmune Celiac Sprue. The reaction may be so delayed that the person may not realize that they are reacting to gluten or they may have only nervous system symptoms, skin problems, osteopenia, vitamin and mineral deficiencies which worsen over time. I have perfect stools and it doesn’t make a difference to my eczema. They are well formed and sink and I am usually on a high fat diet.
