Folks, ... ... Just wanna let you know that when my anxiety was at it worst i didn t know what was the cause, i took meds and everything. One day i read about candida infection and discover that candida was the cause of my anxiety. Candida depletes magnesium and make you anxious. So, try to kill candida and see if you guys have a healing crisis, if positive, candida could be the problem. If you guys want to test. Take magnesium glycinate and see if the anxiety gets better but dont abuse of it or candida will proliferate. Hi there, ... ... Clicking jaw joints is generally a sign that you have TMJ, temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction. Your jaw join could be ever so slightly popping in and out of the socket whenever you open and close your mouth. I believe there is a direct relationship between TMJ and the problems on these forums to the point where one can say that if you have this jaw clicking you are more prone to adrenal fatigue, anxiety, depression, candida, etc. Likewise, people on this forum should be much more likely to have TMJ. When I was really copper toxic my jaw would pop all the time. I felt a lot of tension in my jaw until I stated detoxing. Tension in the jaw can be caused by heavy metal poisoning and also magnesium deficiency. Magnesium deficiency can be caused by stress.   [End]
      • Re: Quick Question For You Guys by ericbakker   12 days  131

Yes, there are. Many AF patients I see have no signs or symptoms of jaw clicking or popping or TMJ. I’ve found it to be very commonly associated with nervous tension, anxiety and stress more so than with anything else, whether it be candida, AF, whatever. Not all folks with TMJ have AF, but a lot do. ... ... Stress and especially emotional tension commonly creates tension around the mouth, jaw and facial muscles, and is probably one of the most common cause (of all) when it comes to tension headaches. And tension headaches account easily for 80% of all headaches I’ve seen in the clinic.   [End]

I understand what you are saying and it is very smart to learn to make connections like this. According to my thinking, all disease and physical problems start as an energy imbalance which then manifests as a physical and/or psychological imbalance. When you start to put all the pieces together, everything starts to make a lot more sense. TMJ is a physical manifestation of a specific energy imbalance and this same energy imbalance also very often will lead to other problems like candida, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, stress, depression, brain fog, gas, bloating, and other symptoms. Gupta was one of the first things I tried, naturally, since we have similar views on this being mind based. He seems to be sincere but he is not cured and nobody on his program will be cured. I’m sure of it. ... ... You have to go a lot deeper than just eliminating stressful thoughts and reactions in the moment to be cured. I’m not trying to discourage you but to keep you from wasting time and money. It’s the same reason why I was warning people about this NB program. I just see where the path goes and it’s a circle. I know it’s unfair of me to tell people to wait until I’m finished since everyone wants to be free of this by yesterday. Yeah, well Gupta himself says to stick with it for a minimum of 6 months. All avenues must be covered. Diet, Sleep, Mental, Supplements, etc. My take on it, is that my anxiety caused me to get into this state. Fixing the anxiety alone will result in at least 50% recovery. The remainder is diet, and sleep. His model makes a ton of since, plus it’s got a 6 month money back guarantee. I agree with a lot of what he says, just a few things I don’t. It will help you learn mindfulness if that’s what you’re looking for. On the other side, it trains you to disconnect from your body. That is the opposite of what you want to do. When you combine not feeling your body and lowering stress, you don’t feel the symptoms as much. This shouldn’t be mistaken as healing though. Focus on the mindfulness and meditation aspects of it is what I’d recommend.   [End]

Yeah. The way I look at it is this.. I am treating the cause of my AF, but in doing that it’s not necessarily the ”cure”, as we know that with AF it’s usually a pretty interesting situation with all the weird reactions, tolerance of supplements, sleep issues, etc. I think his model makes more sense to me than anything else I have found. Trauma is stored deep within the brain. Techniques like deep breathing and meditation are great for calming down, but don’t work on re-training the brain. From my understanding, holy basil is supposed to have some anti-stress properties but in Ayurveda I believe it is most often used as an anti-viral/anti-bacterial and not as a means to re-balance the body. Holy basil will reduce vata and pitta but if over-used can increase pitta. Valerian root is not normally used in ayurveda because of the possible side effects, valerian requires a healthy liver to process and eliminate otherwise it will stay in the body for a very long time.
