  • James the Just, brother of Jesus. by Wiz   9 year  7,499

This is really long, and I didn’t even get through it tonight myself, but I am posting it for reference. James, brother of Jesus, led the first Christians in Jerusalem. This is a scholarly historical piece, based on conventional historical findings, dated 1982. It is true of me too. Beyond the biblical dogma (or any other) is a place beyond fear and anger. A serenity and level of understanding that is available to anyone who is brave enough to venture out of the self limiting traps that branch out of our ego. Once the lock comes off, the hunger for growth continues as one’s awareness spirals and expands. The only requirement is to nurture the openess and guard against turning the spiral back into a closed circle (loop). Souls on their path of growth get various ”lessons” (experiences to make distinctions from) at each level and thus identify ...   [retrieve this message]

I don’t find fear and anger in Bible truth. I have love, joy, peace, grace, mercy, freedom, etc. I think the problem is that folks equate ”system” with the body of Christ(Church). Negatives are only evident when the organism acts like a human organization with accountability to men first and foremost while Jesus is rarely considered. That is nothing more than horizontal religion of man searching for God which enslaves rather than a vertical relationship of God reaching man which frees.   [End]

The God of the Bible has a way of peace that people don’t like because it involves humility versus pride. Until that is embraced, He sure has permissive will and governmental control of evil thru military provision. I can’t imagine how you don’t understand how humbling it is for a Christian who knows God’s value of life to even pursue military action or embrace the death penalty as a deterrent to evil.
