It certainly sounds as though you may be in the early stages of adrenal fatigue. You should indeed get some tests done, but just be aware that just because the doctor says they may come back within the normal range does not mean that you are not suffering from adrenal fatigue. Also by going to the doctors you may also be prescribed meds which will only hinder the healing process. ... ... I’m not sure what your ”FT4” level is measuring. If that is your total T4 (or Total Thyroxine), normal range is approximately 4.5 to 12.5 (your level of 16.7 would be indicative of HYPERthyroidism). If you are saying it is Free T4, (or Free Thyroxine), normal range is approximately 0.7 to 2.0. It may be different in the US vs UK. Not sure. Your specific laboratory should have made a notation if the values are abnormal. ... As for your TSH, 3.1 (if it is the same value as US) is actually creeping up to the high side. I found Out I had pyroluria ... ... I had a test for pyroles in my urine, they came back at 0.08 ... ... 0.09 is fully positive, but anything over 0.06 should cause suspicion. ... ... I do short fasts from time to time of 1-3 days. I like the idea of giving my digestive system a rest and detoxing. I DO find the hunger pangs make it something less to look forward to - therefore doing it less than I should. ... ... So what I’ve started doing is taking Hoodia pills when fasting. I am a scaredy-cat, so I won’t try any sort of pill, herbal or otherwise... it’s a question of my anxiety, which is so intense I just have to stay with what is familiar. i find that if I try or take ANYTHING, whether on a fast or not, and I start to feel any sort of reaction --good or bad!--I freak out and can only console myself with food. I think stress can be a big part of the breaking the fast & eating for me or that may just be a excuse I don’t know. I get these SUPER bad sugar cravings which I know are caused by the yeast & bad bacteria in my body. Dear Invincible! ... While studying human medicine in Germany, I heard so much about orthodox medicine, but nothing about other ways of healing. When I started to work, I had no idea about alternative ways. It was an university hospital and one had to find a way to get along with all the new casts..being a ”youngster” ...
