My getting sick story is similar to yours, but my getting well experience is different. I nearly died in 2002. The critters infecting me flourish regardless of what I eat. The doctor won’t prescribe enough albendazole to do much of anything except make them a little uncomfortable and cause some migration. Although raw foods are the probably the healthiest foods available, nothing will help someone that is too far gone, simply because digestion is too weak and pathogens will keep surviving whatever you do. The best way out of it is to give the digestive and immune systems a rest from all that digestion that requires energy and distracts the body from fighting the critters. [End]

I myself go to the farm and I see the cows, the farm, the farmer, plus the farm is owned by a vet who has been selling raw organic milk since the 40’s. I have so much confidence in this farm. ... I agree with raw milk lasting a long time. The farm where I get mine comes with a ’milked on date’ and also the name of the cow. I’ve heard of up to three weeks and I have drank two week old without loss of freshness. I can’t see why anyone would buy raw milk then pasteurize it themselves creating dead milk and destroying the live enzymes. [End]

Thanks again for all the good info. The farm is registered with the state. The cows are beautiful and have plenty of land to enjoy, they have around 30 cows on the land. I have researched this farm and I do not see one complaint for this farm. While I drink the sourer milk I sort of hold my nose, not use to the taste, but not a bad taste. Good for you for supporting your local economy and family owned farm! If you can get out of the grocery store all together that’s the way to go. I have backyard chickens that rule the yard (not cooped) and their eggs are bright orange and delicious. You can eat them sunny side up without worry that you’ll get a ”salmonella bomb.” ... ... Not a solution for your present supply, but you might contact your supplier in regards to future purchases. When I was a teenager I milked the family goats for a few years when we lived on a farm. When the raw milk was chilled in a large container it tasted as you describe. My mother found out that if you chill the milk in a very shallow pan so that it gets cold all at once it will not have the bad taste. I have heard that if they keep the male in with the does it can affect the milk a bit, but not to that extent I wouldn’t think.
