I really need help with cleaning out my liver. I am taking Quatrefolic (Vitacost brand) (2) 800 mg. It takes awhile for the body to adjust so don’t get discouraged. I have heard good things about Metafolin and Quatrefolic. Some other great brands are Whole Health Centers Folate Support, Methyl Life, and Seeking Health. I had the hardest time keeping weight on my whole life and now that I am taking this Folic Acid, the weight is staying and I feel much better. This seems to happen sometime and I wonder if it could be die off, but sometimes when I use the bathroom the stool consistency turns basically mushy and has little black spots in it, also some small red things (which may be sign if flukes - maybe pumpkin seeds, emzymes and probiotics hurt them too). Sometimes I see pumpkin/sunflower seed looking things in my stool too, and also rolled up tomato skins which I was beginning to think were liver flukes. My stools have been mushy today, but strangely the last three days I’ve been having hard stools but only in the afternoon. I was diagnosed with blastocystis hominis and candida overgrowth. i took alinia for 14 days for the parasite and stools got better but a few days after stopping the medicine the stools came back again. I just found out i have lyme and was told that this parasite is very common in people with lyme. I am waiting on a stool test results to see if i do still have it. I have Candida and have for years, but the thing that gets to me is when I try even little ammounts of Teasel Root I react and almost all day long! Herx! Just off a drop or two. I can usually use antifungals in lower doses and get out of the die offs in a few hours, for some reason Teasel hits me hard! Does it kill other things sides lyme? I wanted to use it but the reaction might make me stop using it and fast. ... ... I can even use parasite herbs and react less than this! Amazing how it can be so strong at a little dose. ... ... Fasting, on vegetable juices especially, can speed up the recovery process dramatically. But it can intensify very much the detox symptoms. Also, you have to fast properly, assisting the organs of elimination (liver, colon, kidneys, skin), otherwise you might get extremly ill. Breaking the fast is as well very very important, for many reasons but especially because fasting depletes some of the good flora along with the bad, because they need food/fiber to survive. My philosophy is that you want to put the minimum possible stress on the body to get the results you want. If your body is already in cleanse mode, I don’t think there is any reason to start fasting, fasting will increase cleansing in the body. Fasting should be used when your body is physically strong, with no stress in your life but your body is not cleansing, when used properly, it can be a powerful tool, juice fasting is also great and can be even more effective if you understand the effects that specific juices have on the body. Well, juice fasting will intensify the detox, but I disagree that fasting is for the strong. Fasting is actually the best thing to do when one is seriously sick. I’ve been there, and was getting nowhere even with the healthiest foods on earth, not digesting and losing tons of weight. I started vegetable juice fasting and the weight immediatly stabilized. Sure, you have to handle the extremly severe detox symptoms at first, but you can expect a turnaround pretty quickly with fasting. Of course one should be extremly cautious and assist the organs of elimination during the fast, otherwise yo ...

Thnaks, that is interesting, Florastor seems to help the elimination process for me sometimes. I haven’t done enemas tho. I see it mentioned a lot here but I don’t feel so comfortable about them, I do use lemon water though when I feel my body needs additional help detoxing. ... ... I guess even when fasting you could still have a small amount of vegetables or something if it is better than fasting straight up. It can be a little confusing sometimes tho cause I feel like I want to eat spices like oregano and anything else that might bug parasites that could be in me but I guess keeping it s ...
