... ... Address Multiple Sclerosis with Immune Modulators and other Remedies ... ... ... by Luella May ... ... ( The Best Years in Life) Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the myelin sheaths surrounding the nerve fibers in the spinal cord, eye and brain. With these myelin sheaths damaged, nerves cannot transmit the impulses necessary for the body to function properly which, in turn, results in a variety of neurological impairments. Medical science does not understand what causes MS, but attributes it to various factors, such as a genetics, environ ...

Over time, diet would have gotten rid of all of these problems. But when one is severely deficient, yes, supplementation is good. Some are too sick to do cleanses. Parasite die-off can cause one to feel quite ill. It depends on the person’s tolerance. I prefer healing crisis to the long wait of getting well nutritionally. So, get rid of the toxicity, supplement, and eat the diet as recommended. A good diet WILL get rid of parasites and heal the gut over time. I’m with you though, I just don’t want to wait that long! This is a very good question. If you research it, you will find the consumption of gluten (or sometimes any other grain) can cause your inflammation to spike for up to six months. Ophthalmologists treat patients with optic neuritis. Have you tried consulting them? They’d be able to guide you better in this regard. For mild or moderate pain, analgesics that can be purchased over the counter, such as Tylenol and Motrin, are recommended. For more severe pain, prescription pain medication, such as Demerol, Darvon and Percocet are used. For serious stabbing and jerking pains that some neuritis sufferers experience, anticonvulsants, which prevent and reduce convulsions, are prescribed. It is no longer possible to get tested for XMRV, as it has been shown that all the positive results were due to lab contamination, or cross re-activity in relation to serology tests. I previously tested positive myself. Numerous researchers from around the world have now proven beyond doubt that XMRV is not associated with ME/CFS and it is in fact highly unlikely that anybody is infected with this retrovirus, that was created in a lab during the 1990s. It was a dead-end in research terms, though fortunately did highlight the severity of ME/CFS and attract new researchers into the field. ...

The fact that XMRV isn’t a real human pathogen does not of course mean that your symptoms are all in your mind. ME/CFS is a recognised real neurological disease, if that’s what you’ve been diagnosed with. VIPdx’s XMRV tests were withdrawn as they were shown to be totally inconsistent in the blood working group study. RedLabs were using the same test that they licensed from VIPdx. All these type of symptoms are usually very difficult for doctors to diagnose an actual disease or reason that you are having them. Hi #42412 (or should I call you Too Young?) ... ... Like you, I don’t do doctors and for good reasons. For 15+ years I had a list of strange symptoms that my doctors did little to address. I was ”fortunate” that I broke my leg--snapped like a piece of chalk while just playing non contact sports with little nieces!!! I’m a 39 year old woman and for the last 3 years I’ve had severe vertigo attacks lasting days at a time. In between the attacks I generally feel off-balance, distorted vision, and can’t function normally. I’m absolutely exhausted, have at times felt general muscle weakness, at times find it takes a lot of work to make my legs walk, find it harder to concentrate and remember things (I used to be pretty sharp), and about once a month or so get very weird attacks that consist of a feeling of electric waves rushing through my brain and knocking me off balance and then have confusion and inabil ...

Hi, ... For what it’s worth, my brother had Meniere’s for a couple years. He had vertigo, and ringing in his ears. It began when he married a southern woman and ate a lot of rich, fried, and unhealthy food, in his late 40’s. He is asymptomatic now, divorced...though he still doesn’t eat particularly well. The alternative health opinion about Meniere’s is that it stems from an overly acidic body state. Although a person may be vegetarian, one can still eat foods which lead to an overly acidic body state, if one eats a lot of grains and dairy, and sweets such as chocolate. ... ... Epilepsy can ...

Yes, the description of APECED has always been interesting as they talk about candida being a part of it as some bizarre manifestation of something that shouldn’t be there, when in reality it should be there as a result of a common cause - antibiotics. I think coconut oil should be part of every healthful nutrition plan.Research shows that coconut oil can help to reduce cholesterol and blood pressure, making it a healthy cooking fat for cardiac function. It also, more recently, has been shown to be a great alternative fuel source for the brain other than glucose. An aging brain can often times have difficulty in absorbing glucose, which is it’s primary fuel source and when this happens memory and cognition decline, as seen in Alzheimer’s. By using coconut oil, you offer the brain an alternative fuel source that it well absorbs and in tur ...

True said. Research suggests that there is a genetic predisposition for developing MS. British researchers recently found that the gene they believe to be primarily responsible for MS is regulated by vitamin D. It is theorized that common viruses such as chicken pox, other herpes-like viruses, or Epstein-Barr (that permanently reside in brain and spinal tissue) trigger the white blood cells to attack the nerves in an attempt to get at the virus inside. These white blood cells are genetically confused, because they can’t seem to differentiate between a foreign attacker, and the body’s own n ...

"So what then is the philosophy of Natural Hygiene? Natural Hygiene revolves around one word--"life." All life is precious; all life is a learning experience. Life is our teach er and we are its pupils. For it is only in life, not death, that lessons can be learned. Life can also be a severe taskmaster so that we may each evolve toward that truth and perfection that we ultimately seek. Natural Hygiene is a way of life, not a collection of assorted cures. There are no "cures." It is a beautiful mode of living. It is a system of care of the mind and body in sickness ...
