Common Chemicals May Delay Pregnancy - And Much Worse ... ... ... by Tony Isaacs ... ... ( The Best Years in Life) A recent year study suggests that chemicals known as perfluorinated chemicals, which are pervasive in food packaging, pesticides, clothing, upholstery, carpets and personal care products, may delay pregnancy. I had my mirena placed August 2008, 12 weeks after my first child. I have had health problems my whole life and had terrible reactions to other birth control before conceiving my daughter. I was so happy to get the mirena, since pills and the ring were no longer options. However, I have had illness after illness, spent a majority of the last four years on antibiotics, steroids, and all kinds of other meds for various and sundry things, all weird, but explainable. However, my husband and I decided to have it removed after gaining 50 lbs. in the last few weeks, yes weeks!!! And yes, 50- f ...

I’m so happy for you that you had it removed. I go tomorrow to get it removed. I recently have had health problems. G1 Problems. I’ve also gained a lot of weight in 3 yrs. I went from 150lbs to 200lbs. I look preganant. I’ve tried every diet out there. Nothing worked. I do blame it on the mirena. I recently did a whole body cleanse and it did get rid of my bloating. Now, i’m doing a parasite cleanse and wouldn’t believe the stuff that is inside of you. I’m hoping that this is the start to my weightloss. Espcially once it comes out tom. I wish you the best of luck and better health. [End]

My Mirena was surgically removed from my bowel area in Oct. 2009. I’d had it almost 3 years. I got pregnant on the first try last June 2012, but this has been a very rough pregnancy. I know breastfeeding has something to do with it. . .I got Mirena at my 6 week check up. I bf until he was 15 months. As soon as my milk started drying up, I started getting symptoms. I didn’t know that early they were from Mirena. It seems like the bf was protecting me from the hormones in Mirena. Now I know they are not supposed to put them in that early after childbirth, and that there are added risks putting them in lactating women. (plus my tilted uterus). Thank you for the reply :) my husband has high blood pressure so when I check mine, it’s always low(90’s). Did u experience any weight gain once you took it out?? I didn’t experience weight gain when I had the mirena. But once I got it taken out, my husband said I was a different person. I have gained almost 10 pounds in 8 months. I eat very healthy and don’t know why I would gain weight. I figure it’s probably my hormones being all messed up. Thank you for the feedback. [End]

I would just stick to a no sugar/junk diet until after your baby is born. I would not recommend fighting it when you’re pregnant. Forget the candida for now - just relax and enjoy the miracle of motherhood. :-) ... ... Don’t be worried! A baby’s flora is much easier to correct, as they are born with a ”blank slate” so to speak. I would not worry about the candida or amalgam fillings - enjoy your pregnancy and bonding with your child. I feel for you. I did have the nausea my first trimester and it was awful, even water will make me gag. What helped me ease the symptoms of nausea was the crystallized ginger candy and ginger tea. I didn’t like the taste of the hot tea but ice-cold it wasn’t too bad. keep sipping on ginger tea all day to see if it helps. ... ... you will make it, I like you thought that i could not make it anymore and here I am 7 months along and feeling a little better than at the beginning, no more nausea thank God. ... ... I hope that this works for you. ... [End]

Cynthleal, ... ... Thanks for the congrats! Congrats to you on your sweet lil girl! With all the trouble I have had, I am just hoping and praying that this lil guy is healthy! ... ... I having been feeling pretty good during this trimester. I am 18 weeks. I had a HORRIBLE first trimester! So glad these weeks are passing by fast. I am ready to give birth already and start the healing process again!! The only effects I have are some anxiety. Every once in a while, depression will rear its ugly little head. But the anxiety always seems to linger. Sometimes I still wonder if I am going crazy, but then ...

So I am a little discouraged! I had to get a prescription for my morning sickness. I am on day two off of work. I was throwing up and no relief all day. This prescription seems to have helped me today, I feel alot better. I am mad I couldn’t get over it on my own, it has been over a week and hardly ate anything in the last 3 days. Lost 4lbs. I don’t need to loose weight really. So this is where my decision to take a prescription came from. I couldn’t imagine feeling that way for 6 weeks. I could hardly do anything! Anyways that is my update, I am dealing with lots of floaters, the ...

EskaArabian don’t be discouraged, you are brave enough to handle with the mirena symptoms, pregnancy and still work? I couldn’t do it. I was and still feel some days like a disabled person and I’ve been off mirena for almost 2 years, so I just imagine you, i don’t know how you do it. Yes the mirena symptoms still come and go, it really hasn’t been easy, some days I wonder how I’m going to do it when it comes to have the baby, I don’t know if I will be strong enough to do it with out the Epidural. I really don’t like the idea of getting the epidural, I’m scared of the procedure and I alrea ...

The morning sickness with my 3rd (my post-mirena baby) was by far the worst. It was well into the 2nd tri before it let up to where I could eat more than cream of wheat cereal and toast. Still had it up until delivery to a smaller extent. I had to get a prescription for it, as much as I hate taking meds, especially while preggers. I needed to work full time though too. I only took something a couple times, when I was at my whit’s end. I spent most of the time I wasn’t working on the couch sleeping so I wouldn’t feel the nausea! I tried the acupressure wrist bands. They help some peo ...

This post were copies from Body Odor Forum ... ... Hi guys :) ... ... Just wanted to repost again my own findings of how to replace modern deodorant (most of which are full of chemicals) on something natural and still effective.. ... ... I am talking about raw shea butter. Intitially I used it only as a moisturiser for my skin but then, by unknown even for myself reason desided to try for my underarms and see what happened. And to my big surprise it worked!.. All u need to know is take a bit of shea butter and spread it over ur palm and then place under ur underarms as if u were moisturising them too. Re ...

Ok, I know I have gallstones. I had an ultrasound when I was 3 months pregnant. I did the flush by itself. I drank the apple juice and did the oil and juice drink. I did not do the salt, if I recall correctly. Anyhow it’s a year later and I have a 4 month old nursing baby. I have had 2 attacks this week. I have not had any since a week after my flush a year ago. So with a nursing baby who isn’t supposed to have wormwood. Should I just do the gallstone cleanse again or should I try some other type first? Also driking the apple juice alone is going to affect my milk supply. Had anyone else t ...

The whooping cough epidemic is receiving a big “ahem” in the media but we’re not hearing the whole story. There is probable reason to believe that the new virulent strain is a result of the pertussis vaccine, yet the blame for the spread is directed at those who won’t vaccinate. ... ... More alarming, is the very recent call for pregnant women to run out and receive a whooping cough vaccine booster during their late second to third trimester. ... ... Why? Because the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices says so. They believe the immunity will pass on to their unb ...

... ... Beware of This Toxic Chemical in Canned Food ... ... By Kirk Patrick ... ... ... Given these uncertain times, it makes sense to have a reserve food supply. Canned food not only provides long term storage and survives external contamination, but also provides a backup in the event of a food shortage. However, it turns out there is a potentially toxic chemical in canned food including USDA Organic labeled. This notable contaminant is Bisphenol A (BPA) a powerful hormone disruptor that has been linked to cancer, birth defects and other health issues. It is found ...
