I’m not sure but I’ve noticed my own bought homeopathic remedies work less as they were originally intended over time and they change away from their original potency faster when closer to the bean, so I think it reprograms the water. [End]

From my understanding, holy basil is supposed to have some anti-stress properties but in Ayurveda I believe it is most often used as an anti-viral/anti-bacterial and not as a means to re-balance the body. Holy basil will reduce vata and pitta but if over-used can increase pitta. Valerian root is not normally used in ayurveda because of the possible side effects, valerian requires a healthy liver to process and eliminate otherwise it will stay in the body for a very long time. Thanks. I find the valerian root more relaxing and better for sleep. NOt sure how great my liver is but my blood work per doctor says okay. Yeah I don’t think holy basil is meant for long-term use, usually is taken intermittently. I really think you should see an ayurvedic practitioner, as long as they are legit they may be able to fix your sleep problems completely but ayurveda is not quick it takes time. [End]

Over the past two weeks I’ve been experiencing, the best I can describe it, a rapid heart beat immediately after eating, then feeling very tired and weak 1 1/2 or 2 hours after eating. The fatigue usually lasts anywhere form 4-5 hours. One time it lasted 6 hours. I’ve had heart rates between 90-110 (aver about 65 in the morning, 85 for hours after eating and then dipping back to the 60’s by night), but the most challenging symptom is a persistent pulse that I feel in my neck and chest, practically all day but diminishing, but not completely gone, by early night. ... Could be reflux. Reflux can irritate the vagus nerve and the vagus nerve will cause the rapid heartbeat thing. Also, lately even mild exertion for me will cause the rapid heart rate. My heart is normal, btw. The two issues causing the same symptoms for me have been reflux and an Atlas Subluxation in my neck. I would google the Atlas Subluxation and see if you fit any of the symptoms. [End]

Yes - definitely look into reflux. I agree with angeleventide. ... ... I have been taking aloe vera (juice or softgels) which have helped a lot with my reflux/irritation. Eons ago I was dx with Roundworm. I tried treating it several times, but am nearly positive I didn’t kill it. Im sure I’ve been carrying it around for a very long time. Then last year, the dog we adopted had Giardia and we didn’t know it immediately. Chances are I could have gotten that too, before she was given a clean bill of health. I don’t know for sure what the cause of my postprandial tachycardia (after-meal rapid pulse) was, but my best guess at this point is that it was ”splanchnic pooling” (blood going to the digestive tract) combined with hypovolemia (low blood volume) which is caused by dehydration which is caused by low aldosterone which is caused by cortisol shunt which is caused by dysregulated (L)HPA axis which is caused by excessive (frustration) stress. ... ... Sounds like you might have adrenal fatigue. I had very similar symptoms with my heart as well as the other symptoms you mentioned and more. ... ... I would also suggest having a saliva parasite test. It’s called SigA on the lab sheet. It’s the only thing that was able to detect my past parasites. Stool tests are basically a waste of time. Hiya, im UK too mate... ... ... A friend of a friend was treated by this guy...he was early stage 3AF, at exhaustion stage...the doc got him back to cycling 20 miles a week in about two months. Two years ago ... when I still got some money I wanted to go seeing him but for me was way too expensive. He,s maybe good but also expensive. My experiences with some of UK ”functional” doctors were positive but incomplete either by lack of real knowledge either by selling products approach before patient real needs. ... You need to find a new dentist -- at least to handle this aspect of your dental care.
