Yes, stretch marks do lighten and fade, but not all cases are the same. Meaning the time to fade and lighten them will not be so quickly as one would think. Chemical peels with acne is the only case in which I have seen this. ... People can also get stretch marks from LOSING weight. Stretch marks are caused simply because of rapid stretching of the skin. Are you using any skin products? ... ... Your skin is constantly chnaging and growing, to me it seems you lack collagen and elastin in your skin layers that normally prevent stretch marks. What you said about your stretch marks just totally echoed what I hear in my head all the time. I have the same exact thing going on, even how I got them. I use to weigh 200 lbs. in highschool, then focused on losing the weight and now I’m 125 lbs. They are ALL over my body. so i recently discovered some stretch marks on my thigh/butt. i am 17 years old and i am NOT pregnant and i have not recenttly gained or lost a lot of weight. i maintain my weight. i recently started using a skin firming lotion to get rid of some cellulite in the same area as the stretch marks. they are not too severe and they are white but i dont know if they started out more red and i just didnt notice or if they just appeared like this. i dont know why i am getting these marks but i was wondering if it could be from the lotion. if it is, should i stop using it or continue. some peop ... There is a new therapy I believe its called oxygen therapy where the doctor/esthetician injects oxygen into your skin. It takes a few sessions but its suppose to eliminate stretchmarks, I saw the before & after pictures--they were pretty convincing. After reading a lot of stretchmarks problems, I remembered that stretchmarks is a result of skin tissues that are expanding. Apparently if you will get pregnant, you will have that possibility. I haven’t tried it, but know someone who has. She is extremely hapy. You don’t actually bleed, just get red for few minutes. You can use ice before and after rolling. She swears her skin, drk spots, so much better. Her crows feet are almost gone after four months, she stoped having Botox there. I must say, she does look good. It costs $100-120, if you order, get the 2mms needles, most effective. [End]

Being from Australia, I also use an Australian emu oil. I love it. I use it on my hair, skin and also neck and shoulders for tension. also i was just thinking i once used this stuff on my legs in the dead of winter when i wanted them to look a little nicer in a skirt lol. it’s sally hansen airbrush legs.. i think that’s what it’s called. it’s basically foundation for your legs. you might want to give that a shot, maybe it can cover up your marks in the meantime while you’re trying to fade them. just a thought so you won’t have to remain sweating all the time in pants when all you wanna do is wear some shorts or a skirt! I tried a tanning salon’s spray on tan booth before a vacation. I liked the way it looked (don’t inhale in the booth!) It didn’t ”erase” the stretch marks, which are signigicant, but they were much less noticeable. It lasts about 3-4 days, but wears off in some places more slowly than others. Seems to hang on longer to dry areas. I would recommend a salt scrub or skin brushing before the spray. [End]

This is amazing on stretchmarks, scars including acne scars - it’s been used on patients with burns with fantastic results. A nice massage blend is 30% rosehip oil with 70% apricot kernel or jojoba as a carrier, and essential oils of frankincense, myrrh, lavender and carrot seed in equal amounts (5 drops essential oil to 10ml carrier oil), use on moist skin after shower or bath once a day or every other day. The rosehip oil is quite widely available, an aromatherapy or massage therapy suppliers will usually have some - it’s also available online, just google rosehip oil for a suppiler in your area. i have stretch marks and i’ve been reading up on essential oils and i’m considering giving it a try. my stretch marks are fairly new (about a half yr) and i’ve been using trilastin sr, it’s working but do you think i could start using the essential oils while also continuing to use trilastin sr? Hello, ... Not really sure what to tell you on that one. I wouldn’t use them both at the same time. I would give some time in between uses. You have a great chance of getting rid of yours since they are newer.I would maybe suggest doing some cleanse and flushes...making sure you have a good clean diet.
