How would i know if it gets in my blood stream, and is a danger to my health? Am i not correct in saying once in the blood stream, it can spread to organs?   [End]

It spreads all over the body even while youíre taking antibiotics. Only if your immune system is severely suppressed will it be life threatening. Otherwise, you just develop a systemic fungal infection that creates other problems and imbalances. Candida spends very little time in the blood due to the higher amounts of white blood cells that are present there.   [End]

I think my symptoms may be due to lots of candida in my body. Every time i have taken an antibiotic of any kind, my symptoms are made worse. Is this normal for candida? It sucks because i have other medical stuff going on, and i need to take them, but every time i do, i get this really bad herx reaction feeling   [End]

That feeling is associated with all of the intracellular toxins being released by the bacteria that is destroyed by antibiotics. The bacterial toxins are measured in Endotoxin Units (EU). 5 EU is enough to create those symptoms. It takes about 500,000 bacterial cells to create that. The problem is that you would multiply 5EU by about 2.6 million to obtain a more accurate reflection of the number of EUs being released into the body by wiping out all the bacteria in the body with antibiotics. Why do you need to take antibiotics?   [End]

Creating balance in the regulation of the immune system requires correcting the fungal form of candida back to its normal yeast form, boosting the correct Th1 immune response, detoxifying the body, and restoring normal bacterial flora - www.candidaplan.com.   [End]

Candida is your friend... Not your enemy when you have an infection. Do not treat the candida , you need to attack the infection... which is what candida does. It is like coughing, which is good. because coughing is how the body is trying to get rid of something. candida is not the cause it is just a symptom!   [End]

Hey Dr. Jeff. I tried some brown rice last night hoping I was ready, but terrible reaction to the oxalates still. Bladder inflamation, urgency, frequency. Can I use Organic wild rice? It is very low in oxalates and without being able to eat any fruit, potatoes, or rice Iím having trouble staying on the diet and have had to start over. I used to get by with pumpkin seed bread and sunflower seed butter when I craved carbs or fruit. ... ... Staying at 18 HCL per meal. I was up to 22 per meal and still no acid stomach. I had to cut back because it was giving me very acid urine and my bladder would ...   [retrieve this message]
  • Gas & Constipation on Candida Diet   kesoccer28   73d

Hi, ... ... Iím currently following the candida diet after being diagnosed with intestinal candida. I went months following a diet high in veggies, fruit, meats, fish, and yogurts (little junk food but i still indulged) and I found myself constantly constipated, with lots of uncomfortable gas/bloating and abdominal discomfort that gradually got worse and worse. I went to a Dr, where I was diagnosed via breath test with lactose intolerance and SIBO. I took Rifaximin and improved. Then i started eating more and including grains, more junk food, etc (indulging in Thanksgiving, etc) I had unknowin ...   [retrieve this message]
