You may feel overextended financially and socially today, which could lead you to be guarded and conservative in your decision-making. You may be feeling the need to set boundaries to protect your financial and personal resources so you can recreate a sense of inner security. One good way to do this is by eliminating the unnecessary from your life today. If you have social obligations about which you are feeling less-than-passionate, consider canceling or postponing them for now. Likewise, if your spending has taken on a life of its own lately, consider halting all unnecessary expenses to ...

I gave away my bed recently and now I sleep on the floor. I do have foam rubber pillows and a bedroll. Surprisingly,I like it much better. I have ideas about another bed that I may make soon. Congratulations on your great discovery! 3 years ago, I got fed up with my life, dumped all of my worldly belongings and moved 2,000 miles. I slept on the floor until I saved enough to buy a bed (4 months). It was the best time of my life, best sleep, best back health. As I understand ’voluntary simplicity’, from reading ’the Aquarian Conspiracy” several years ago, you simplify your life as far as possible, and concentrate on some things that are important to you. For example, you may feel you can’t live without music, so you have a really good sound system. Or, as you mention, you keep your computer.
