Was just reading that Povodine itself is just a carrier, and wondered if painting with Betadine is as effective as using the 5% iodine. It says that the iodine is 9% to 12% of the solution. ... ... I’m asking because I have lupus, and along with that comes unexplained skin sores. Mine seem to be concentrated on my right arm and leg. Some say it does absorb into your system through the skin, some say it doesn’t. I’d like to know, because one blog said to paint it right on your throat so it will go directly into your thyroid. I was massaging castor oil into my thyroid and throat at night, so I just started adding a drop of iodine to it. Seems like most of it is ending up on my hands, though. [End]

2 days ago she at the OBGYN, she measured 2 cm dilated. This morning at 4 am she started getting stronger and closer contractions. Took her to the hospital and measured her cervix at Triage, which came in at 8.5 cm. They ramped up until 8 or so this morning and as soon as she got to Triage, she was ready to get the baby out. Well if i would be you, i would not use iodine for some time now, becouse what seems to happen when you take iodine is that the allready high level of bromine would increase to even higher level, thus making all of your reactions also higher. If you sense it more when under the influence, it could just be the heightened perceptions that result from cannabis influence (as opposed to increased blood flow spreading whatever ’it’ is). ... Since they are only on your scalp, I’m thinking it’s not bromide zits. Looks like the iodine may have stirred up some parasites in your scalp and run them out. Better out than in, as we parasite warriors say. I had that happen last time I took Kroeger’s Wormwood combo, and they also broke out on my face, but only one one side. Maybe stopping the iodine would get rid of them, but that doesn’t really seem to be good long term for bromide removal. I’m hesitant to go for higher SSKI doses, cause I get redness/rashes around my eyes and the skin become super tender. ... ... This is just MHO, but if that happened to me, I would stop everything and start cleansing immediately. In the meantime, start putting Noxzema on your head at night. It helps me a lot when the parasite cleanses cause my face and arms to break out. [End]

Hi b3nault, ... You should reread the salt pushing protocal because what you described is not salt pushing. The real salt pushing will help. Increasing vitamin C helped me too...anywhere from 5000 to 8,000 is what helped me. You could try soaking your scalp in bathtub with lots of borax added too. ... ... i still get those. i think they are detox from crap in shampoo. they did get worse with iodine. now, after all manner of cleansing and tons of iodine, i have gotten rid of them. if i want them back, i just use commercial shampoo on my hair. [End]

I’ve never gotten any bumps like this on my scalp while I drank mt dew heavily. It’s only since started during iodine supplementation. So could it still be bromide? Seems like my body may have been ridding it just fine before iodine, or maybe I’m simply taking too much iodine and these are simply from the iodine. ... ... I just wondered, because there are some people who have said they are still on large doses of iodine after two years, so I figure they are saturated with iodine by now and must have all the built-up toxins out. ... ... I’ve only been doing it a week, and I was doing 3 drops a day of what is supposed to be 5%, but I suspect it is 2% or 3% at the most. It gave me horrible headaches, but actually seemed to be healing some of my lupus sores on my arms, so who knows if I would even get zits? I can’t take that chance, though. Not right now. [End]

I don’t know where you live, but here in FL we have a huge hispanic population and lard is most certainly sold in stores. I have no such fat-o-phobia. I regularly eat pork chops, usually fried, and ham and bacon. I also take coconut oil every day. Your body can’t live without fat. ... ... Oh yes, you do have to put it on your scalp, and make sure it gets on the scalp, not just the hair. I use a hair color applicator with the pointed tip to do that. You can cover your head with a plastic cap and leave it on for an hour, or leave it on all night. I have an old towel I put on my pillow to be sure I don’t ruin the pillowcase, and since I work at home, I can leave it on for days if I want. ... ... It’s really thick, so most people mix it with olive oil. I mix mine half and half with coconut oil. It does take some heavy-duty washing to get it out. I usually use Dawn dishwashing liqui ...

I still wonder what the mechanism of castor oil is though, I’ve even wondered if sometimes hair loss is caused by unknown demodex mites and of course parasites hate castor oil and the oil is toxic to them and smothers them. ... ... I’ve tried putting it on my eyelashes and eyebrows a couple times but I wear contact lenses half the time and the oil gets in my eyes. The thing in castor oil that does the work is the ricinoleic acid. It doesn’t act as a carrier, I don’t think, but castor oil does have the ability to penetrate very deeply into your skin and break stuff down. That’s how it gets rid of scars. ... ... I just run to article that says potassium chloride is allmost as good than sodium chloride kicking bromine, then i come to think, that i happen to drink quite often this water that has magnesium chloride and litle bit vitamin c also in it, so can magnesium chloride also help to flush bromine ? I think transdermal mag chloride (1/2 - 1 cup in footbaths) is excellent for detoxing bromide, I had a wicked hard time with symptoms before doing that. [End]

I don’t like the oil, it stings, it’s messy. And realistically... since it only has 100mg per 8 sprays... impossible to get a large amount into the body. The bath flakes (Life Flo is same Zechstein source as Ancient Minerals but much cheaper) were better for me. [End]

Yes it`s messy,and i am the last person on earth who would like to put anything to skin,i never liked to put moisturizing cream to skin, but i had to put that mag oil as it is to me very fast way. in on 30ml botle there is 3 grams of elemental magnesium.....i usually put about 40ml ,like i did yesteday ..thats 4 grams of magnesium! and it only takes about 20-25 minuts and i can the go to shower...i just did that in this friday and saturday,thats like 8 grams magnesium, and i really did feel it ,as it helped to both mind and energy levels. ... ...
