What did your body odour smell like, is what I’m asking? Lastly, in the diet plan, you mentioned mixing egg yolks, with a grapefruit and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Ummm, just curious but when you mention the grapefruit, are you saying we have too eat a whole grapefruit, along with the egg yolks and olive oil, or are you meaning, we have too blend in, the grapefruit juice from the grapefruit, in with the egg yolks ...   [retrieve this message]

Almost always, there’s an itch before a rash appears in eczema. Typically, eczema shows itself as: ... ... Patches of chronically itchy, dry, thickened skin, usually on the hands, neck, face, and legs. In children, the inner creases of the knees and elbows are often involved. ... ... Scratching can lead to sores with crusts. ... ... Dry skin is defined as flaking or scaling -- which may or may not be itchy -- when there is no evidence of dermatitis, or inflammation, of the skin. Some flaking along with redness, however, may be a sign of an underlying dermatitis. There are different types of dermatitis th ...   [retrieve this message]

  • Fatigue & Drowsiness after taking EFA's by lovely008   4 year  3,820  Ask CureZone / Dry Skin / Omega3

I have very dry skin all over my body and It came from a past problem with taking too much omega 3. My diet consisted of taking 2-4 teaspoons of flax seed oil, eating salmon almost everyday and rice. That was practically it! I went from having oily, acne prone skin to extremely dry skin on my face and body. I stayed away from EFA’s for a couple of years because of it. ... ... FFWD to a few weeks ago and I decided to start with EFA’s again since I haven’t found anything to help my skin. Took NOW’s Omega 3-6-9 and woke up the next day with plump, soft skin. I took it again the next day and I had ...   [retrieve this message]

Drowsiness, along with eadaches, allergic reaction, diarrhea, and fatigue have all been reported as side effects from Omega 3-6-9. ... ... Have you tried coconut oil and/or grapeseed oil (both internally and externally?), along with plenty of water to stay hydrated?  I recently began taking both fish oil capsules and hiyaluronic acid and noticed a positive difference in my skin (a bit fuller with fewer fine lines).  Maybe you could try those and cut back a bit on the Omega 3-6-9, which does have many benefits.  When it comes to drowsiness, I used to feel drowsy often right ...   [retrieve this message]

I’m in the same boat as you my friend. I used to take EFAs daily for years. Had a major health crash almost 2 years ago and only recently have I begun to feel normal again. One thing I still notice is that oils of any kind drain my energy like nothing else. ... ... • Budwig Protocol for Dry skin, Acne, Seborrhea by #110838   4 year  3,577  Acne / Dry Skin / Seborrheic

Hey ... I’ve been on the Budwig protocol for about 6 months. I originally went on it because I read that it was very beneficial for skin diseases/dry skin, etc. I did some research and some how ended up on this forum and learned more about it at the ”ask Tony Isaacs” forum. ... Anyways, reporting back that after 6 months I have had no improvement in dry skin or any other my complaints. This is a real let-down because I really had my hopes on this at least helping me. ... I guess it supposed to help saturate the body with oxygen but for whatever reason it is not helping this condition- severe/perva ...   [retrieve this message]

Is this budwig diet the ONLY thing you’ve been doing for the past six months to help your acne etc.? Remember its all about what you ASSIMILATE! You can eat all the goodies you want but if your intestines/colon are not cleansed you wont absorb it. And you need your liver flushed as well. Im not knocking the budwig protocol, I honestly dont know that much about it.But seeing that you’ve done it for six months without the desired results makes me wonder if its possible there could be more done to benefit from it. Make sense?~eme   [End]
