Yes, that’s a very good point, iron supplements are not the best. Most all folks with H.pylori have/had low or very low stomach function. Be careful when initially supplementing with hcl, you may well feel nauseous/sick, until the stomach improves. A queazy or sick feeling is very common with H. pylori.   [End]

I think the advice you received to include salt in your water is incorrect. There are many different minerals that your body uses as electrolytes, the main two are sodium and potassium but there are others as well. Taking just more of just one of these (like drinking water with salt) will actually cause much more of an imbalance in the electrolytes than taking nothing at all. That being said, it seems unlikely that your electrolytes would go out of balance that quickly (only two days, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt shouldn’t have much of an impact). Could be reflux. Reflux can irritate the vagus nerve and the vagus nerve will cause the rapid heartbeat thing. Also, lately even mild exertion for me will cause the rapid heart rate. I have had a weird burning feeling in my mouth...mostly tongue. It comes and goes. Sometimes acidic foods like coffee can trigger but sometimes just about anything. It does happen after I eat though. Probiotics do provide some relief from it. Earlier I thought it was acid reflux. However, I recently read somewhere that it could also be a sign on Candida ? Yes I am still eating kitchari on a regular basis. The alterations that I have made to my diet are in consideration that even though my main dosha is pitta, my vitiated vata is what is actually causing all the problems. yeah, you have got to tweak the diet to work for you. Have you experimented with eating foods made from durum wheat flour? This type of flour is very low in gluten and generally good for health. The bread in India is freshly ground and freshly baked and unleavened, very good for health unlike toxic store-bought bread. My advice to you is that you should get yourself completely healthy before you give everyone advice on how they should get healthy, otherwise you are just causing more confusion for everyone else.
