I was researching products today and was surprised with what I found. I recently switched to local black cumin seeds as they are better, organic and free of pesticides. I find that the majority of foreign products come in large plastic containers or water containers that may allow the plastic to seep into the products. The oil may come in metal containers, so cannot say. This is why we like to see glass containers as they are the best. Cold pressed oil is not to be heated but mixed with honey or oj. The oil notoriously will cause stomach distress if taken on a full stomach. But you have the option with the seeds to heat and remove this problem. If you search on this forum you will find a post I made on a research study being done on how heating does not affect the efficacy of the seeds. ... ... Actually black cumin has been proven to be successful for animals including horses. I would consider a dog like I would a child and give half the dosage in his food.
