Once you start detox of candida it could be a fluke or worm causing a break out get some coconut oil eat it and rub in face throughout day it should go away. Thanks guys for the replies, support, and suggestions. Is the only way to know for sure what it is testing by the doctors? It is strange because I have never had anything like this before, and it only showed up when I started my colon cleanse using colosan(oxygen based cleansing). ... ... Something weird is happening atm, when I put coconut oil, it starts to itch more, when I wash the rashes clean, and leave it to breathe without applying anything, it’s fine, just that the skin is very dry and tight, and my lips are super dry to the point that the edges of my mouth are cracking, and the creases on the lips are starting to crack too. Are you taking a vitamin C supplement? Whenever I get a mouth ulcer, i put a bit of vitamin c crystals on a wet q-tip and then apply to the sore. I try to keep it there for as long as I can..it stings like heck and it is really, really sour. I then spit it out and rinse my mouth. It usually helps the pain by at least 80% and if it still hurts the next day, I do it again. By about 3-4 days, the mouth ulcer is healed. ... ... Lysine is really helpful for getting rid of canker sores... doesn’t take long. Also, swish some salt water around your mouth and hold it for as long as possible. OK I get a lot of canker sores. (Inside mouth, white ulcers). They seem to last weeks. They can even weaken in pain, seem to get better and then get painful again, over a period of 10 days to two weeks. From what you describe, it sounds a lot more like canker sores which are not herpes and are not related. I did. I started pulling about a month ago; a couple of days into I got five or six cankers all at once (and I’m not really prone to cankers so I figured it was a detox reaction). I vascillated about stopping the OP, but decided to suck it up. I bought some topical canker stuff to get me through the day; and I OP’d three times a day. The main reason I take breaks is to see how I feel without supplements. I believe that supplements are good and essential when we are in a period of rebuilding and healing, however, my goal is to eventually get healthy enough and have a diet healthy enough that supplements will not be necessary. I am still very much a work in progress, but I still hope to get healthy enough to have a body that is properly balanced and functions as it was designed to function. [End]

Ulcers you mean cankers as well right? Not sure if this is a cure but I used to get them all the time until I used hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash. Make sure you mix it 50/50 with water. Don’t swish it straight. When I started using H202 it wasn’t even for cankers but I notice it’s been over a year and I’ve never had a canker again. I used to get them quite frequently especially after eating things with tomato sauce. [End]

Thank you. I just wondered if anyone had heard of a rare case when ingesting semen might bring about an outbreak genitally. Last week I developed blisters around my rectum. Visually, my doctor says it appears likely to be something like herpes. She’s done a culture and results are pending. However, I didn’t have any contact in that area. if cold sores only happen on the outside then i guess what i had was a cold sore, but there was no cluster, just one, and it doesnt really look like the pictures at all. it kinda looks like the last pic on day 1 but it was not as severe. maybe cause i attacked it with iodine right away. ... ... yesterday i only put iodine on it once and boy did it sting, it stung enough to not want me to put more on before bed!!! ... ... the thing is, this sore has really been a walk in the park. no pain, just really anoying on day one when it was huge. after that it flatten right out and really i almost dont notice ...

It WAS most of the bottom of one side of my tongue! The doctor said he had never seen one as large. (And was not 100% sure it was a canker sore as a result.) I wonder if it was some sort of toxin elimination as a result of the oregano oil...? [End]

i would say so, maybe try in your oil swishing to refill more frequently, so toxins don’t sit in your mouth for so long. And to have a canker sore of that size, definately keep up with your doctor and make sure it doesnt get out of hand, if you do some searching I have seen some posts about natural ways to help canker sores heal faster. get some astragalus root, chew it like gum, let the clump rest directly on your sore, keep it in your mouth for at least 15 - 20 minutes or longer. spit it out and do that again several times throughout the day. you should also make a tea out of the astragalus and drink a couple cups fo that on an empty stomach. ... ... i had terrible regularly occuring canker sores that were driving me nuts. I have heard that in China they pay special regard to this. You could try some yogurt pills in capsules and even open them in your mouth and letting the good bacteria stay there. I know a woman who had something very similar to that, and she was diagnosed with yeast (candida). The doctor said she got it from using a lot of cutlery from restaurants....(don’t know if that’s true). ... ... They gave her antibiotics, and I don’t think that worked well. I have had two herpes mouth sores for 20 years. They would flare up whenever I was stressed, overly tired, or sick, maybe about 2 or 3 times a month. ... I still have the red spots on my arms, also, though they too have greatly diminished. I just thought that because this had been a condition of over 20 years, it would take a while for the skin to clear completely. I think it is like scarring and will be replaced by fresh skin eventually. I’ll let you know if and when that happens. ... ... I have problem with "bioflavonoids" that is found in citris, also any citric I eat if I overdo (which doesn’t take too much). This sounds similar to what I have experienced. It does not take long for the effect. Although all those fruits are really good for you, if I overdo, I break out in the mouth with sores. But that is why I don’t eat much of that type of fruit. ... Have your heard from others about this? I am in agony right now. I have one that is an inch long on the underside of my tongue and I cannot eat or sleep. It is awful. ... ... Your doing great! You’ve got a plan and it sounds like your sticking to it. That is the most important thing. As you continue to fast, transition and fast again I know hubby will be on board. Okay... I get canker sores too. In fact, it’s like clockwork for me because I get them every August and sure enough I have one forming on the side of my tongue right now. It’s not big at all but annoying. I think its a stress reaction to the summer heat as I don’t really enjoy the blistering hot weather. No I don’t but they sounded interesting although not so cheap. Sites that sell make their product sound so wonderful with all this evidence that it does exactly what it says it does. I guess if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. But if someone has used it with success, then it might be worth looking into. Some have been healed of canker sores, etc., but don’t know the dynamics of what you are dealing with. Oil pulling has helped a lot of people, and it appears to do so more every day. So why not give it a try? It can’t hurt anything, but only help. You take 2 tsp full of Sunflower or Seasame (not toasted) Oil and swish it in your moth first thing in the morning for 20 mins. Don’t swallow, you need to spit it out after the procedure. It may be hard at first, read some of the prior posts. You can build up to it. ... ... If the oil doesn’t work, try dabbing hydrogen peroxide on it with a QTip. Or swish it in your mouth every couple hours throughout the day. It worked very quickly for my daughter. Also, cayenne pepper would probably work, and it would take the pain away. [End]

Believe it or not, I am a type A, and I have used as much as two tablespoons of cayenne in one day to a gallon of lemon-maple syrup water for the Master Cleanse, and I feel terrific when I am doing that fast. But I don’t know much about the Blood type diet. I know some foods do not agree with me or make me tired. I don’t know if that is food allergies, or just something I shouldn’t eat because of the makeup of my blood. A little cayenne shouldn’t hurt anyone unless you are severely allergic, I would think. I use the 90,000 heat unit stuff that I buy in bulk. [End]

Yeah, now that you mention it. I think eating something with chopped hot/cayenne type peppers in it is what actually caused it. ... ... I get them a lot on the master cleanse too. Hi Imabeliever...you are so right. My husband has been using an SLS free toothpaste for probably at least 6 months or more and has not had another canker sore and that’s huge for him. He used to get one about once or twice a month. Guaranteed if he bit the inside of his mouth and then he’d have it for a week or so. I think he did bite the inside of his mouth recently and got a bit of a sore that is likely, regardless of whether you are prone to canker sores. It was sore for a day or two but never turned into a full blown canker sore so I’m convinced. Oh and great advise with the vitamin C. ...

Thank you. My oregano is diluted 10 to 1 and I only do a drop. But it would make sense that it is a form of herpes. I get cold sores. He claims, just like you, that it is always the result of him biting his lip or cheek too. I think that the inside of the mouth is just not able to handle the trama in some people. Boy thats a tough one. I have started eating a lot heathier the last year. Thinking back I started taking some Virgin Coconut Oil in the spring for about a week and I’ve had less problems with biting my lip/cheek. I bite the sides of my cheek, my tongue, my lip, etc. plenty enough... never gotten a canker sore. I did drink soft drinks, formerly, but haven’t for many years. Didn’t get them even when I did drink them, though. ... I thought they were caused by a virus in the bloodstream. Are canker sores different from cold sores? Canker sores must just have something to do with the ph balance or something inside the mouth cuz I, like you, bite the inside of my mouth on occasion and don’t get them, normally. I agree that candida is not good for anyone for many reasons and I think that most people have it and don’t even know it. You’re welcome, ... ... and btw, I remembered another thing that helped me get rid of sores: changing diet to meat and onions mostly! It sounds weird, but I’d avoid all fruits and sweets, and since I love a good hamburger I take a Wendy’s Classic with no cheese, no pickles, light mayo and catchup, no fries, no drink, but loads and loads of onions (and I pretty much skip the bun - it’s there but I don’t eat it). Eat this a few times, and sore dissappears. I think it’s because of onions and meat which don’t really feed candida at all. (Wendy’s hamburgers are mostly meat as opposed to others...)

I have no idea what they are, I suspect candida could cause them or maybe it’s something else. I use a qtip soaked in hydrogen peroxide to make them go away, works very well. Salt water rinse afterwards and take good care of your teeth, they stopped being a problem for me when I did that. [End]

Sounds like you still have candida. You may want to consider buying a zapper like the Terminator 2. Also CS kills bacteria wherever it can come in contact with them you may have areas that need deeper penetration with cs. Some folks use 5-10%DMSO/90%CS solution to penetrate the cs. I have done this with sinus and tooth infections and it did help where cs alone could’nt. You could also try combining gatorade with cs for better penetration. Let us know how it works. ... ... Thanks for all those ideas. I will definitely try the Gatorade. Does the MSM work like DMSO, carrying the CS deeper? Would I just mix some MSM powder in the CS or just take at the same time? My sister has a nebuliser and I nebulised some Colloidal Silver two times when my cold started moving to my chest. It helped the chest and cough. Perhaps I should continue this for the sinuses. Don’t drink Gatorade it is extremely bad for you. MSM is DMSO except its slightly different and the Garlic odor is removed. I would take the MSM first then the Colloidal Silver i.e seperatly but together so to speak. I am going to hold off on the liver flush right now and get the Terminator II zapper instead. One question I have is and I am going to ask this at the zapper forum is, why do they use pennies as contacts, when most are not solid copper? Every penny made since ’82 is copper plated zinc. I even read on one site that the copper can react with sweat and eventually etch away. Leaving you with zinc contacts. From what I could find, Emergen-C is a GREAT source of this. I used to drink it on a daily basis (check it out online--it contains no refined sugars), but I sort of tapered off. Interesting about the hydrogen peroxide. I had a recent cold sore flare up. Once I felt/noticed the pre-cold sore swelling on my lip, I immediately swabbed the area down with hydrogen peroxide (for lack of a better alternative). I kept up with the hydrogen peroxide for three days, applying it liberally three to five times a day and letting it air dry on my lip. As a result, a potentially huge eruption was minor and was basically gone within four days (it normally takes two weeks for my cold sores to disappear). I used to have canker sores ALL the time. I was so miserable! Then a friend told me about L-Lysine. Now whenever I feel a canker sore coming on, I take two L-Lysine tablets and poof! No more canker sore! They say there are no miracle pills for chronic health problems but that pill sure as heck cures at least one chronic health problem for me. NOTE: My nutrition/health manual states that amino acids are NOT to be taken every day for the rest of one’s life. Therefore, I only take L-lysine when I feel a canker sore coming on. [End]

I’ve heard when you take Lysine(amino-acid) it keeps your body from taking up another type of amino acid that the canker sore Herpes Virus’feeds on. It only works when you start early and take it every few hours or so. I try to watch the amount of protien i eat too. Once the sore forms it really takes on a life of it’s own for me. [End]

Lately what seems to bring the quickest pain relief and improvement is mixing acidophilus powder in a little water and using an eye-dropper, putting a few drops right on them -- I try to dry them off first. (I use the eye dropper because I don’t care for the taste.) When I have more than a couple or they’re unreachable, I add a little more water and swish it around and swallow. ... ... I got cankers a lot when I wore braces. The chemical balance inside my mouth was way off...that’s when I ended up w/tons of cankers. Also, when I used the Rembrandt teeth whitening system after I got them off, same thing happened. I learned that my body was too acidic, so taking this drink called GreensFirst began to make my body more alkaline. That seemed to do the trick. Otherwise, I got some weird paste stuff from my doctor (prescription) that I would put directly on the cankers that cleared them up in a matter of days. When I was doing P&B shakes at the beginning I would have runs of canker sores. I swish for 15 seconds with coillodal silver 2x a day and they usually would leave in a few days. ... Thanks for the good advice. My diet has definitely been alkaline, but I have been feeling parched, although I drink water regularly. I live in Colorado, which is very dry, so not drinking enough water is always an issue. Needless to say, I’m drinking LOTS of water the last few days. ... ... White sores on lip and tongue is NOT part of th healing crisis! It is a reaction to too much cheap fillers in the product, and/or too much acsorbic acid (vit c). So stop all fruits, and also, just to make sure, have you changed your toothpaste recently? Some toothpastes have additives to make them foam which cause cankor sores. ... ... You may want to switch products. Go for something simpler, that jsut has fiber and bentonite clay. Your body just doesn’t like this product. No product is good for absolutely everyone. [End]

I am also doing the same cleanse as ”Digicleanse” ... we are doing it together. I think the product is quite good, and does not have ”fillers”, however the advice to avoid ascorbic acid is probably a good one, especially to re-evaluate the intake of fruit and consider avoiding it for now. Maybe call the support line, and see if there might be something in the herbs causing the canker sore reaction? I agree that A&S is a high quality product, and I know the psyllium & bentonite used are pure, but maybe there’s something in the chomper or herbal nutrition that’s causing this. [End]

Thanks for everyone’s advice on this matter. This is a very supportive community :-) ... ... This morning I tried a coffee enema, as recommended by the Arise & Shine program when you really aren’t feeling well. It helped me get rid of my first bits of mucoid plaque (yahoo!) and it made me feel a lot better within the hour. The canker sores are still there, but they seem to be in remission. ... ... I detest cankor sores!!! ... ... First thing to do is switch toothpastes. Some toothpastes have an additive to make them foam up that destroys the protective lining of the mucous in the mouth. I use Arm & Hammer Baking Soda toothpaste with no problem. I once used a gel type and my mouth was full of canker sores within 2 days. ... ... I suffered with canker sores my entire life. A trip to Wyoming once brought me back with more than 10 on my lips which were so swollen I looked monstrous. ... ... I have an occasional canker sore and I find if I gargle with colloidal silver they heal rather quickly. Also, if they are on the lip I use virgin coconut oil and they also heal quickly. [End]

Thanks for the replies. The odd thing is that I am not new to this except when I changed diet to vegetarian I added back grains. It’s just odd that the lack of meat should make your system more alkaline and mine is more acidic. Is stuff being pulled out into my digestive system. Hi Starlight! ... ... I’m not sure if this is at all correct, but when I get canker sores I feel it’s because my system is too Acidic. They always seem to come if I’ve eaten toooo many Acid-Forming foods (meat, dairy, bread) and not enough Alkaline-forming foods (fruits and vegetables! and water!). The last time I got a canker sore I was actually feeling some stress too - so I have a feeling this is a cause too. ... ... I put baking soda on mine and it takes ’em right away! ... ... Another thing to try is to use dilute hydrogen peroxide in water and swish it and hold in m,out for a few miutes. Repeat several times. I uses 40% food grade h202 and add about 8 drops to about 3 ounces of water. ... ... Also consider getting plethy ov vitaminc c and b vitamins. I used to get really bad ones when I was younger, flares up from stress and diet. If you take L-lysene they will stop....you have to use it fairly regularly. Once you start and then go for a few weeks you can cut back a bit. The other things mentioned wil help deal with the ones that you have now. They occur due to a build up of stomach acid....a particular one in your saliva. The L-lysene helps to control that I guess. It has been years since I got one luckily, had one stretch from gum line up past the tips of my teeth on my cheeks the whole length of my jawbone ont he right hand sid ...

I think you will have to try a small amount of the tincture to know. It is made from the Hull of the walnut so maybe you wont have a problem (check that your tincture IS made from the green hull of the black walnut). [End]
