I agree with Wilson on the hormones. Rather leave them alone. Every time i have tried to fiddle with any type of hormone replacement it has not worked out. I prefer the idea of supporting the adrenals with b vitamins, glandular s, a low carb diet while you sort out the bodies chemistry by mineral balancing. Pm me your skype name. [End]

To me, cortisol is high because the body is upregulated to handle/need more, either because the feedback loop is starting to get more worn/damaged, or because something is constantly stimulating the LHPA axis because of parasites, infections, toxicity etc. ... ... Did you ever get a copy of your HMA report ? I think you have very high levels of copper and a zinc deficiency. If you look at your ARL supplements they wanted you to take a lot of zinc. ... ... You don’t look at the actual reading on a hair analysis you look at the ratio. Your Cu/Zn ratio is way out. The blood level means nothing. I remember reading somewhere that the copper will at first stimulate the adrenals before exhausting them. I lowered my cortisol that was high before starting copper detox. I didn’t plan it that way. Now I am wishing I had just detoxed. Zinc will lower cortisol and it sure did for me after I was taking it awhile. But the lows you get with zinc didn’t seem like real crashes as I recovered from them way quicker than real crashes. Gradually you don’t crash as much and your adreanals strengthen and you can tolerate more zinc. Or that the way it’s worked for me. I think I remember Lorado saying ...

May I ask how much IP6 do you take and do you take it on an empty stomach as suggested? My bottle of Jarrow formula says to take 1-6 500mg a day. ... ... I’m a snacker and I do not like to eat big meals so my stomach is only verifiabley empty one time a day and I prefer to take Chanca Piedra at that time or if I start taking it again serrapeptase. ... ... Table salt with iodine is ablsolutely NOT a good source of iodine. It isn’t iodine, it is iodide, and the amounts are so insignifigant and vary from brand to brand or even from batch to batch, it is only enough to prevent goiter. The bare bare minimum. Anybody on Curezone or thinking holistically should be using sea salt or something besides that processed table salt anyway! ... ... Okay so I was taking zinc for a few years and realized you’re supposed to take a copper supplement with it to prevent deficiency. So about a year ago I start the copper along with the zinc. Everything goes great, I feel great until this winter I start getting bad panic attacks out of nowhere. No stress no nothing they just start up. Just my feedback, but the same thing happened to me, however, I already had a copper toxicity and didn’t know it.
