      Scotty: Did you have testing done? This is such a sticky subject to cover as there are two sides of the issue and most only see one. Copper in ceruloplasmin will be elevated in immune system activation so that the vital copper can be carried to the white blood cells where copper is utilized to manufacture neutrophils. ... ...       You must remember that if things don’t change your cortisol won’t stay high forever, as the adrenals get more exhausted it will go from high to low and you will go into burnout.   [End]

          If the adrenals are merely a hormone factory, what is keeping the orders going into the factory? ... ... It is the same like a muscle which is excited 24/7.               I agree with Wilson on the hormones. Rather leave them alone. Every time i have tried to fiddle with any type of hormone replacement it has not worked out. I prefer the idea of supporting the adrenals with b vitamins, glandular s, a low carb diet while you sort out the bodies chemistry by mineral balancing. Pm me your skype name.   [End]

                  To me, cortisol is high because the body is upregulated to handle/need more, either because the feedback loop is starting to get more worn/damaged, or because something is constantly stimulating the LHPA axis because of parasites, infections, toxicity etc. ... ... It seems to me that ARL is further speeding up overworked adrenals and just upregulating and damaging things even further. ... ...         Did you ever get a copy of your HMA report ? I think you have very high levels of copper and a zinc deficiency. If you look at your ARL supplements they wanted you to take a lot of zinc. ... ... You don’t look at the actual reading on a hair analysis you look at the ratio. Your Cu/Zn ratio is way out.       I remember reading somewhere that the copper will at first stimulate the adrenals before exhausting them. I lowered my cortisol that was high before starting copper detox. I didn’t plan it that way. Now I am wishing I had just detoxed. Zinc will lower cortisol and it sure did for me after I was taking it awhile. But the lows you get with zinc didn’t seem like real crashes as I recovered from them way quicker than real crashes. My body is aging fast and things like cigarette smoke are life-threatening to me. I don’t think anyone on here was ever that bad with copper deficiency. My SOD is ridiculously low.     Hi. I am lacking iron because I used a lot of zink supplements for a long time without adding copper, or c- vitamine for the matter of iron. I am a bit worried about taking copper , even though I should so that iron will be used, because I have read that copper reduces the metabolism. I am not sure that is the right word, I am Norwegian. But the burning of fat etc. will be lower with copper, and some have recognized that overweight people more often have more copper in their bodies than normal.       As far as I know, ox bile does not contain copper. As you stated, ox bile helps the body release excess copper The reason your copper symptoms get worse is more than likely due to copper detox due to the ox bile.   [End]

          Right now I am not taking anything !! ... I am only eating really good and taking care of myself. ... I am waiting for Dr. Lam poduct, quantum, c support, lipo c and pandrenal. ...         Table salt with iodine is ablsolutely NOT a good source of iodine. It isn’t iodine, it is iodide, and the amounts are so insignifigant and vary from brand to brand or even from batch to batch, it is only enough to prevent goiter. The bare bare minimum. Anybody on Curezone or thinking holistically should be using sea salt or something besides that processed table salt anyway! ... ...
