Re: Bad cold and coconut oil

Whenever I get a head cold I use the now brand of Xylitol nasal wash. Squirt a lot of it up your nose and let it slide over to the other side and also down your throat. It is very uncomfortable when you do it for about 15 minutes but it is amazing how well it works. Use it at least 3Xs a day. It has a bunch of other stuff as well as the xylitol - like eucalyptus oil, mint oils Grapefruit seed extract. It is good to use it as soon as you get a head cold - it will pften keep it from heading down into your lungs. It's also great for just keeping mucus down and for sinus headaches.

Other good things to use are Oregano oil and raw garlic. But I find the Xylitol works best for me.
