I responded to that query as yelrah felt that I
had some responsibility for spdina being banned from
the Support Forums .

Dusan did post and say she was limited to the
Debate Forums . Also, if you have been here long
enough, you would find that there is no expectation
of disclosure. Dusan has, in the past, even said that
he feels no need to answer or comment on some of
the choices he makes relative to banning or
unbanning etc. This time he did make a statement.
Other times, for example, with Harleygurl, he did
not. I am not being an ambassador so much as I feel
that I have found myself being blamed for spdina's
censoring by friends of hers, and so do not see
any conflict in stating my feeling that it was
not something I did, or had any control over. I
will admit to alerting the Webmaster about the
outing of one of the other posters in the thread,
but then again, others also did and perhaps others
I am not even aware of.

I apologize if my words have misrepresented my
position as a member of Curezone. I am not a moderator,
nor a confidante of the Webmaster, nor am I anyone
looking for trouble or conflict. I have received
messages myself from the Webmaster but only to be
called to task when he feels something I have done
is inappropriate. Based on my own experience, it
was the first conclusion I made, although certainly,
your own suggestion that there were other issues
involved is also a valid consideration. Rumor has it
spdina was banned previously under another username and
so if this is another chance could have also carried
some weight. I also noticed in other forum threads that
spdina had a habit of outing other posters. I have
no way of knowing if who is outed was who she said they
were, but the spirit of the posting would suggest that
this could be the case, and so, correct, I do not know
for sure.

I do know I pressed the button which says, alert
the Webmaster. I am assuming it will, so assumed he
was responding to the situation.

What does matter to me is that, in the support forums,
if there is a way of establishing a level of understanding
that the TOS be enforced so that there is someplace on
Curezone where those of us who do not wish to debate do
not have to see what I consider verbal bullying and worse.
It is worth the swings others are taking at me to stand
up for myself and try to be part of the shift which seems
to be needed.

I honestly wonder why what I did seems so upsetting to
others and what spdina did garners so much support that
people are willing to call me names. Would Curezone
really be better without me?? Is this really the
answer...that people do not want to have limits on
what they can say, nor where they can say it so that
we can have some civil discussions and accomplish
sharing without flaming and baiting??

I belonged to a debate club in high school. We traveled
between other schools and there was plenty of debate
going on. I think the purpose was to teach us to go
out in the world and meet with everyday conflicts and
be able to resolve them without resorting to physical
or verbal violence. I am old school but would venture
to guess, it will serve me better in the long run than
rolling over or lashing out at others in ways which
are destructive...

cause...
