Akashic Q&A: Thought power

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q: In popular culture there is now the understanding that thoughts and words, not just actions, reflect physical reality- an explanation of how the Law of Attraction and Manifestation works. Could you please explain further so that we could fully understand the nature of how the Law of Attraction and Manifesting and the power of prayer work?
A: These are a combination of things that can be simply understood, is that what is created within the mind and the body of self has an ability to reach out ahead of the self, let us say like the beam of light from a flashlight. It search invisibly for that that is hoped for, craved, desired, wanted, needed. And the greater the force behind this beam of light, the easier it is to hook up with, locate, find, or attract whatever it is that was in the mind of the beholder. Prayer is that of a definite selection of what is wanted. It should be a prayer for a thing, not a condition, for conditions are the results of items or real things. If one wants to be happy, they must do things that are pleasurable in order to become happy, you cannot simply be happy without having some stimulation or some thing that would cause happy to occur. It is the same with other emotions. When one craves something, anything, their mind is focused and as their mind is focused, their craving occur at the exclusion of all other things, whatever it is. A chocolate, a cigarette, power, romance, money, a bigger house, a political position- the craving becomes a singleness of purpose. And to understand a singleness of purpose is to focus the mind or to put the mind upon the object until it is completed or until it has been achieved. To some degree it is at the exclusion of all other things and it consumes the self or should consume the self in order for this to come true. There are many who say "I wish to have a spouse, a wife or a husband, a girlfriend or a boyfriend." But they stay home every night, they don't dress up, they don't attempt to make themselves as attractive as they can possibly be, they do not do any of the things that would be logical, they do not join any clubs or go to any gatherings or communicate with anyone, they simply hope that someone will come to their door and give them what they want. This is a misnomer. When one desires something, you must put an effort behind it and take the logical steps for the world is a logical place. If you wish to attract someone, be attractive, let other people know that you are looking for someone and then go to places where people would gather or at least where you would have the opportunity to meet people and then when you are there have the courage to walk up to someone who appears attractive to the self, and engage in some conversation. Do all the steps in order to acquire the goal. The idea that the Law of Manifestation is a combination of magic and spontaneous coincidence is indeed a little bit of information that is dangerous. The Law of Attraction, the Law of Manifestation, and the Law of Success all engage in logical, progressive steps. Expect what it is you wish to materialize. Do everything you can to assist and help yourself make this thing materialize. Don't give up! Hold in front of you a mental image in your mind of what it is you want exactly, and let that thing be tangible, available to the five physical senses so you know you've achieved it when it has come to you. Look everywhere, go everywhere, for the way it works is that it will take you to one step at a time. You might have to go left, then go right, then go forward, come back a little and go the left again in order to get to where you're wishing to be or to have or to acquire. For understand success and achievement is usually never in a straight line. It usually requires repeated efforts, and it usually requires some modification or negotiation, for this to become fully realized. Write it down on a list of things you absolutely wish to have, put the list in a place where you can see it often, and then check off these things as they come into your life. The way to speed up these things coming into your life is to do all the things that would make it easy for these things to manifest in your life. If you wish for money, then go out and get a second job, or increase your ability to earn more in your present vocation. Don't sit there and hope someone comes to the door and gives you money. Usually, the cavalry doesn't come in to the rescue at the last point- the cavalry ain't coming! However, opportunities and coincidences and people who would be willing to help you are all in front of you. Let us say you are someone about to be evicted from your apartment- you have no place to go. If you think that way, then you will indeed have no place to go but you will be going somewhere, will you not? Whether it is on the street or whether it is to a little old lady's house down the street who is looking for someone to share her house with, free of rent, simply to do some chores around the place and to be company for herself, the choice would be yours, but let us assure you when you are being evicted, it is the end result of a series of bad decisions made before that point, and the decision is about to be made in which something WILL happen; you will move from your present location, the destination now is up to you, if you do nothing others will answer your prayer and you will have no place to go and be on the street. But something always will show up, something always will change that eventuality, for being a good person, there will never be no place to go. It will be a matter of a variance of bad, better, good, or best, and this will be of course up to your choice. But at that point, you will then be invoking all the steps on how to achieve, how to allow the Law of Manifestation, the Law of Attraction, the Law of Success to occur. For you will be motivated to get a place in which you may live. The difference being is that you won't become desperate, and therefore to be desperate for success, desperate for peace and wealth, all aspects of God- health, wealth, and peace of mind, will occur. The point being if you can focus your mind on something, you crave it, desire it, need it, and are willing to do anything to achieve it- lawfully and correctly of course- it will be done. Look back in your past, and you will see that when things occurred you actually did something to make your prayer work, to come true, to be achieved. As long as you are looking and seeking and moving forward with a singleness of purpose, you will achieve anything you wish. If you wish a mate, then tell everyone, go every place possible; you don't have to select the first one that comes along- be patient, but above all, tell yourself that you deserve to have someone in your life and then when you're in that awkward moment, make sure you're prepared with a few words- "Do you come here often?" "Do you have the time of day?" "What do you like about this place?" "Hi my name is ___". "Haven't seen you here before." Or whatever term, whatever saying is acceptable, how awkward, how difficult it could be, get something out- for your wife, your partner, may be at your fingertips and the only thing holding you back was a word or two to start the relationship.
