"It supposedly helps your immune system fight disease and infection."

That's the point I was trying to make in my discussion that got moved here. I even made that statement in one of my posts - that nobody knows if it's an antibiotic - or, if it kicks the immune system in the butt to do the job it was designed to do. Something within MMS obviously kills/weakens the immune system initially, or there wouldn't be so many who come down with the same symptoms of colds and flu when they first take it.
