Re: Ready to die yet ?

I would be ready to die right now if I believed there was no life after this life. Yes we all will die, but I believe we have a Creator, who created us to begin with, and He has the power to raise us from the dead. Therefore there is life after death----got it? There is no hope in your way of thinking. Okay, so you're smart enough to figure out how to beat cancer. Cancer is just one of the millions of ways people die. You're not scared of death at all? I think you would be a liar if you said you weren't. But the Bible says that every man is a liar, so that's already established anyway. Romans 3:4 Even is you live a long, healthy, exciting life, if it all comes to nothingness in the end like your saying, how could you have hope in that? And even if you live a long life, what about all the people whose lives are cut short everyday? What about all the people that have not been blessed with the knowledge you have to avoid cancer? Are you happy in your life as long as you're good? It doesn't matter about anyone else? There is so much misery and uncertainty in this world, how could you be happy with just living and dying here? That would be utter hopelessness to me. Hope for life beyond this life is what gives me a desire to keep on living here. I can bear and even enjoy this life, knowing that my Creator is going to make all things new. Revelation 21:5. No matter how strong or wise we think we are, the truth is, we are weak and ignorant left to ourselves. We can't save ourselves from the worst of enemies which is death. The medical establishment is an enemy no doubt, but death is worse. We might can beat the medical doctors, but not death. But Christ sure can. In fact, He's already conquered it. He will save us from death if we believe in Him. But more importantly than that, He will give us eternal life----that has no fear of death. And in His eternal world, there will be no more enemies. We won't have to pretend we are above fear. Fear won't exist. I hope you will have this truth and hope one day Vulcanel.
