I'm also very interested in this thread. I've been on MMS for three months and recently started having constipation troubles. I stared MMS with just 1-2 drops. When I got up to 3 drops twice a day, the loose stools and D began.

This continued for weeks, until about two or three weeks ago. I was up to 11-12 drops twice a way, and suddenly I was plugged up. A little cascara sagrada got things moving again, and I cut the MMS way back to 7 + 7 drops per day. Some days I take only 7 drops in the morning and zero at night.

Is this a sign that my liver has gotten tired? Should I cut back even more?

Also, on 11-12 drops twice a day, I had terrible insomnia. Even on 8-9 drops per day. Since going back to 7 drops (or sometimes 7 + 7 drops) I am again sleeping well, thank goodness.

Meanwhile, I'm using a simple stool softener to keep the BMs moving, though my first stool of the day is still quite hard and not easy to pass. Things generally loosen up on the second and third BMs.

It used to be that any amount of MMS would give me loose stools. Now it seems to be the opposite.

So I ask the same question for myself: Keep at it? Stop for a while? Reduce the dose more?

Thanks for any help. I really want to get through the full course of MMS (at least up to 15 + 15 drops). But I don't want to stress my system. At this point, I'm no longer sure what's a good sign and what's a bad sign.
