I know exactly what you are talking about. My skin, scalp, and back are extremely oily when my 06 is low. Oily skin doesnt necessarily mean more moisture. Oily sebum without enough linoleic/06 will promote fungus and bacteria growth. When you lack 06 your sebum becomes more rich in oleic acid. Oleic acid is one of the substances that yeast/fungus use or metabolize that irritates and causes infection in the skin. Sebum that is high in linoleic acid inhibits bacteria and fungus. Do some google searches to learn more as there is sooo much info about it. And yes I couldnt be out in the sun more than a few minutes without burning, even in the car. This aspect takes a long time to reverse if you have had the weak skin for awhile, it might take months to build it back up. High 03 without 06 creates thin, weak and fragile skin.

By the way if you supplement with oils and stop the 03/flax you most likely will experience a flare because 03 actually help decrease inflammation you will be letting go of this but gaining back the strenght of your skin. This is the part that scared me and caused me to keep going back to the flax/fish oil. Once your skin thickens back up it will be strong enough to withstand fungus.

Im not 100% positive this is your problem but it sounds exactly like what I went through. My problem was/is a combo of fungus plus 06 deficiency. I have to manage them both. Currently working on alkalizing/mineral supplements.
