And just when I was beginning to think that it was just plain genetics, and there was nada I could do about it...I found something. Something that stopped both the dark circles and any rosacea I have on my face.

I have been using a mixture of Helichrysum, Patchouli, Jojoba and Sea Buckthornberry. A drop of lavender and sweet fennel too.

Buh bye Rosacea. It's been three weeks and seriously, my skin looks amazing. Noticed the change in a mere two days. No more redness in the a.m. at all.

I have used the Helichrysum and Patchouli by itself too. Both are anti-inflammatories and wound healers. They both repair skin.

AND.....the one thing about Helichrysum is that it pulls the blood to the skin to heal. So, guess what? Dark circles are leaving too.

I have no idea which one is doing good things to the puffiness under my eyes. But I wake up looking very refreshed.

These oils are good for both acne and mature skin. Strange, you'd think those were completely opposite skin types. Jojoba is the closest thing to your skins oil.....it really teaches your skin to behave.

I'm totally jazzed, as you can imagine. I know, I know....everyone gives you so much crap about "topical" vs good eating, blah blah....but really, very little essential oil will soak right in. It's like medicine, seriously.

But heres the caveat. Helichrysum is used with some holistic therapists to drum up old memories (not all good memories). I got highly emotional last weekend. Almost over the top....thinking about something major in my life that I have never dwelled on in all my 51 years. Had COMPLETE melt down. It wasn't until later that I thought just maybe...could it be? After experimenting with aromatherapy for a bit now, and seeing what it did to my husband, I can now say that this is some really powerful stuff.
