There Is A MAJOR Problem With That Article!

Medusa was NOT a demonic figure and whomever wrote that article needs to study up on their Greek Mythology! In fact, Medusa was a originally a beautiful woman, and a protector and a queen. Unfortunately she has been associated with castration because of her rage at having been raped by Poseidon! According to the story Medusa was to betrothed to Poseidon and went to the temple of Athena in order to worship. Poseidon raped her in the temple, Athena became outraged that her temple had been violated, and then turned her tresses into snakes. Athena also gave Medusa the power to turn anyone who looked at her into stone. This has been interpreted as resulting from Athena's jealousy of her beauty, although another explanation could be that this provided Medusa with a means of protecting herself from the likes of men such as Poseidon! Either way it was Medusa who payed the price for Poseidon's savagery!

While I will not dispute that some of the points that are attempting to make are valid, the truth is that article is more about the Christian war against women than the liberal war on Christians! And this same war against women has been going on in virtually every culture and spiritual tradition since the beginning of time! It is even currently occurring within the Native American culture by their own tribal elders!

And you yourself have been posting about sexual abuse, sexual deviance and perverts... who do you think have been the greatest recipients of those actions?
