The cause of acne is still a mystery, although we all have our theories (read some of the board to get an idea of this!) However, my theory is testosterone, which is especially fluctuating during adolescence. The thing that works best for me is jan marini's transformation serum, as it helps balance testosterone. None of the pills (I hope you're not taking antibiotics as they make acne worse in the long run by causing candida) nor drying, antibacterial lotions helped me either; I'm beginning to think they're just a medical scam!

I also take saw palmetto to balance testo, but marini's serum has been a godsend - you can buy it on the internet. Good luck.
