Mojo:
Yes, I was thinking of the Spanish word, too.
Specifically, glutenous foods (wheat of all kinds, beans, chocolate, etc.)digest and break down to a bi-product we know as "fibrin". This is not to be confused with fiber.
Anyhow . . . we need a certain amount of fibrin in our blood. When we cut ourselves, it's the fibrin that forms the scab when coming in contact with the air (oxygen) and is the building block in rebuilding tissue. Kids especially need glutenous foods as the building blocks for their growing bodies.
However, when there's an EXCESS of fibrin, it starts backing up into various parts of the body thereby clogging arteries for an acute and chronic ill-affect on the body. I only know it to clog up the eliminatory systems in this manner. When the excess fibrin backs up into the lungs and exudes from the mucous membrane, the mucous membranes and lung tissue is deprived of healthy blood flow. This in turn will cause inflammation of the tissue. HEREIN begins the catabolic (death) process. In acute situations the body heats up with a fever in order to dissolve this excess fibrin. The heat from the fever can usually dissolve excess fibrin thereby restoring circulation and health to the tissue. Otherwise, a person can die from this acute condition because the tissue will eventually putrefy. By the way, this is how pneumonia, bronchitis, etc. develops. In herbology, we feed the body various herbs that will assist the body in dissolving waste thereby restoring circulation/health to the affected tissue.
If this excess fibrin exudes through the throat/tonsils, it's called tonsilitis, strep throat, etc.
If it exudes through the mucous membranes of the sinuses, it's called sinusitis, sinus infection, etc.
If it exudes through the kidney/bladder, it's called Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), cystitis, etc.
If it excudes through the skin . . . then it's no longer called catarrh, but rather it's now called eczema, psoriasis, etc.
Those are acute examples.
On a chronic level, excess fibrin (catarrh) is the waste the candida lives on (among other miner wastes) in the intestinal tract, the throat (thrush), etc.. That's . . . why . . . there's . . . a . . . little . . . thing . . . called . . . . (are you ready for this?) . . . MUCOUS COLITIS!! duh! Colitis = inflammation of the colon and it's caused by mucous. Who would have thunk it?
.
I could go on and on.
I can talk about specific treatments later. But for now I'll call this lesson The Anatomy of Disease. From here we could discuss the Germ Theory of Disease with a little better insight.
If there's any more questions, please just raise your hand.
