I have an interesting experience. (Sorry for talking so much)

Back in the 80's, a young girl came to me (19 years old) with chronic bladder infections! She was taking antibiotics every week for years. Besides this she had spina bifida (?). She felt that he spina bifida was the cause of her constipation and why she never had feelings from her waist down. Constipation was so bad, she sometimes had to digitally extract fecal matter. Honestly! I told her not worry. Her problems were just a passing thing and they'd all work out in the end!
As with all of my regimens, I started her with a liver tonic which would quickly (8-12 hours) be a liver/gallbladder/colon/small intestines cleanse/flush/colonic. Plzchuckle, just as you stated, I always felt that a sluggish liver caused waste to build up in the colon to the degree that waste would spill over into the next eliminatory organ. In this case, the kidney/bladder. (Sometimes it's the skin or lungs)
She started having 2-3 bowel movements beginning the next morning after taking just a teaspoon of tonic the night before. In 2 days she came in and said for the first time in her life she actually had feeling below her waist! She felt the bowels moving. However, she was always told that the lack of feeling was from the spina bifida!
All of the above mentioned procedure took place BEFORE I could even give consideration to clear the kidney/bladder infection. The liver tonic laid the ground work for giving additional herbs.
In six hours after starting the bladder/kidney herbs, she was well.

I thought this story kind of supported your feelings on matters, plzchuckles.
