Agreed Chris. And once again we should not allow numbers to dictate our health. Constipation shouldn't be measured by how often our bowels work or how many days they don't appear to be working. For some several days regularly go by without bowel actions and for others more than one per day would be the norm, both people could be healthy with this regime. As far as time goes you could go up to a week without having to 'worry' about whether your bowels are actually blocked.

However there are circumstances when a blockage does occur for whatever reason- it could even be something rare like a twisted bowel. These cases could well turn out to be very serious. So if you 'feel' like there is an obstruction there nothing is to be lost by fasting. It can only do you the world of good.
