well, this is my opinion from what I've read over the years and from being sick myself. there's no quick fix. charlie's tonic may be liver food and help it function, but I believe a lot more needs to be done in health and to regain health than take a liver tonic. even a good one.

there isn't a magic bullet, a tonic that feeds the liver and everything from there falls into place, irrespective of lifestyle, intoxification of other organs/systems, and nutritional status? it's a high order and he makes a lot of claims for what his tonics can do...

like, cure everything...."The sluggish liver is the basis of all diseases".

it's better than iodine....."You need to backtrack to figure out WHY the body became malnourished of iodine. It's because the body wasn't able to break down and utilize the Iodine in your food. epilepsy, leaky gut, gallstones, hepatitis, pheaumonia, bladder/kidney infections, blood poisoning, kidney stones, and every disease originating in a sluggish liver. these are just some of the claims, it seems he tries to make a sale everywhere to cure everything.

if he was being more straight forward with his product as something that feeds the liver which may be helpful to the body...that's it.....but maybe that wouldn't be a great seller...in my opinion, it's about as much that can be said though, without addressing the myriad of other things that need to be addressed in regaining health.

and then people take the tonic, which likely has some liver/intestinal benefit, get increased bowel movement and think, hey this works. as I said, increased bowel movement while on herbs, is not cure.

I have my doubts about his system of treating with tonics, but they are after all, my opinion. if people gain something from him, then that's fine. and I do hope you find some relief.

I post these things in hope of giving people information and things to consider to help them (and I'm not selling anything, but i was sick at one time and hope this is of help). for some people they may not be that ill, for others, they may be in need of serious assistance in regaining their health. I don't mean doctor assistance. I mean correct healing information assistance.

buyer beware...take care to educate yourself and be cautious of what is presented as truth. and that includes what i write, check it out for yourself and decide.
