Re: Great article about the myth surrounding distilled water

Good job Monica!
I only asked the question about making the water more alkaline because I had read
several articles about how good it was. I do not advocate for people to drink sodas, I am trying to get off of them myself. Just wondered if upping the PH would help? But then I came across a site where the author studied a lot of info about water and he went back to nature to the rivers and streams.
This info agrees with V. However the author does not advocate drinking distilled water which I know many people do, I do.
But the author does mention to add lemon juice. He says to buy spring water with
certain qualities but he does not push any certain brand.
My mother-in-law lived to be 92. She drank lemon juice in her city water every
morning of her life. Maybe there is something to the lemons?

Here is an exerpt from his article: ALL “healthy” rivers, streams, brooks and creeks have a pH range between 5.8 and 6.8, which is not common information. Due to the creation of environmental pollution, pH ranges have fallen below 5.8 from CO, CO2, NOX & SO2 gases and well above 6.8 from detergents or soaps and other industry chemicals that go into our rivers and/or lakes.

I imagine that everyone thinks they have the best water and I hope my distilled water does my body good for now.
