beside besides stroll, roll

I rub grass on my forehead
it's more than aroma but area therapy
alert to location not of looking out window
but can smell touch before I have to leave...

I swing a stick against long grass
where a dragonfly whipped speed into
and it resembles my smocked cloth a child could get into
or be on its own generally like not seeing a damsefly with my eyes,
yet another insect is more similar to a cat than a dog
always on ditchside's milk thistle and I anticipated it set at that
so didn't play with that plant
however explored fluffy purple thistle
to have one go as a baseball
and when I was exhausted with song of over
I was by a truck my husband tried to help start
though it turned out to tow added expense of everyone having to move

me no uprooting bush of constant two week white flowers
recognized through deeper breath and piano steps
as into my papers that then have to be put to use
thus fruitage of my recipes from scattered food
back to taste of nature with wild fermentation
as black sesame seed makes checkerboards out of wild rice
and my jumps are not blocked from laughing in air
