I have suffered from AC for about three years and it has caused me untold suffering and trauma. Mine is related to herpes, which I am able to control fairly effectively through taking acidolphus on a twice daily basis (on an empty stomach). After a year or so with no AC outbreaks, I recently suffered a relapse due to what I believe to have been caused by stress, intensive exercise (creates a high level of acid in the body) and exposure to toxins (oil-based paint). Highly distressed at reliving an experience that I thought was far behind me, I went online and found the ACF site, and paid the $70 to receive the cure. I was pleased with the results, especially with the amplifications made in the above posting - a resolution of symptoms in a manner of days rather than weeks. One thing I'd be interested to know is whether anyone has enjoyed permanent relief from AC having employed the procedure. Does applying the petroleum jelly to the chin and adjacent areas kill the candida that is lurking under the skin? Another thing that I would add to the thread is that in addition to taking a high-quality B complex vitamin and acidolphus (use only health food store brands for both) twice daily, it would be a good idea to take a large amount of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid powder available at the health food store) as a means of controlling the candida infection and promote rapid healing of tissue. I would take a minimum of 30 grams (two tablespoons) mixed with water per day; a 60 gram dose would be more ideal. Be aware that a large intake of ascorbic acid, however, will likely result in some gastric pain and diarrhea, which can be unpleasant to deal with.
