as much as I love inversion, I don't disregard other natural therapies because they have done A LOT to bring back my health.

it may be that sick people are inflexible, but by the point that a lot of people are when disease has set in, (and deeply for some by the time they are looking for help), they need some serious natural therapy care. total diet cleanup, detox, cleaning organs and systems. believe me, someone very ill can't even do inversion, even partial, they are so sick. and besides, they need more than that to regain health. I know because I was very ill before. it was cleansing, gerson therapy (with diet improvement) and liver flushes that brought me out of it. I couldn't do yoga. I'm talking about a completely different state of illness here, it's much farther from having some health issues. I'm talking seriously ill, and people are going to need to do a lot to bring back their health, more than increasing flexibility.

although I do love my inversion table, and now I can use it...before I wouldn't have been able to.

I'm glad this has helped you so much. I think people probably get mad when you say herbs, cleansing, flushing, fasting, etc aren't effective because these things have helped them. maybe substantially. it'd be like someone saying to you, oh never mind yoga/inversion it's useless anyhow. just keep an open mind that other therapies have helped others too.
