Hi Melii! I've seen your post a couple of times, but really didn't know how to answer it because I don't know much about Metamucil. I've heard that some metamucil has sugar in it and other things, right? But some doesn't? hmmmm. My intuition would say, don't use the metamucil. If you're wanting to actually do a Bowel Cleanse at the same time then you can add the psyllium & bentonite...but if that's not your main cleansing slant then just stick to the MC without the metamucil. Does your metamucil have senna in it? (a laxative?) It's not good for your bowel to become dependent on a herbal laxative. I know, many questions and not very many answers! Sorry bout that, Melii!

Maybe you could list the ingredients?
