I am new to this website, and this is my first time doing the master cleanse. I am doing this for mainly spiritual reasons, plus I have been plaugued with exema, hayfever,and lots of excess mucus. However, I would like the benefit of weight loss too. This is day five and it's going great. I can;t beleive that I'm not trying to eat everything in sight. But I've only lost 4 pounds. it's like my body is in starvation mode and the weight is hanging on for dear life. This is surprising to me given what I hear you say and otehr sya about their wieght loss. Over the past 10 months I have lost 30 pounds, and need to lose 15 more to be in a "normal" weight range. I'm doing this by the book with the salt water washes, the laxative tea, and also B& P shakes occasioanlly. Is the slow weight loss normal? I have to say that I haven't been exercising lately. Maybe that's a factor. If I don'tlose much weight, I can accept that as I plan to eat healthy and exercise like I did to lose the thirty pounds. By the way, I am planning to do this for 21 days. Can you offer any insight?
