Re: labels are useful guides, but people interpret them as a death sentence

My doctor was the same. He just said I had Gilberts Syndrome and its genetic blah blah. No offer of any help. However I have read alot on the Gilberts Web sites and there are lots of things I have been doing that have helped. I think if I hadnt taken some responsibility for my own health then I would still be suffering at the hands of doctors. I dont know whether its genetic or not - all I know is it has improved and I am not stuck with it. I didnt know about the lecithin though....will try that for sure.
