I've had a few of those screaming fights with Him too.

I was raised with a hippy mom who breast fed us until we were 3 years old and was a very serious organic gardener back in the early 70's and throughout my life. She did a major study on wild mushrooms and water cress, wild berries and such over the Missouri country side. I grew up stuffing my face with elderberries and I never got sick. We never went to the dentist either. It wasnt until I got my front teeth chipped that I went at age 12 and then I went into a depression and got hooked on honey that I started ruining my teeth. I could eat a quart in a few days. My dad is a bee charmer so he collected honey the old fashion way like in the movie Fried Green Tomato's. We drank raw milk that we got fresh from our neighbors cows that we traded beef for since we had beef cows. I use to make butter for the family and we started making our own yogurt in 1973 from the raw milk and my friends at school all said I was gross becuase I ate yogurt while they were eating at the new KFC in town. I did envy them too! We grew every thing and had farm fresh eggs and of course a well. We would go to a fresh spring and collect water there. My dad invented solar panels and energy saving equipment back in the day when people told him he was wasting his time. I've been an avid recycler since the 70's and have lost friends over the years because of my green ways. What a great life. I have to honestly blame all of my health problems on the mercury fillings.
