Re: Salt water flush as opposed to enema??

I had a pretty bad experience with SWF. After the first 4 to five days I felt amazing with a visit to the toilet within 30 mins of finishing the salt water drink. By the second week i felt very congested and bloated and constipated and i had to stop by the third week as i started getting anxiety and depression and even my libido was suffering (never suffered from any of them previously).
The person who told me about the SWF basically said to do it everyday so thats what I planned to do and followed his orders - .95 litres of water with two teaspoons of Himalayan rock salt every morning on an empty stomach.
I wasn't detoxing at the time but my diet is very good with lots of vegies, wheat free, dairy free, sugar free. i do eat a fair bit of protein so maybe that had something to do with it.
I was feeling so average as a result that i went to my doctor who happens to have a holistic approach to his practice and my thyroid TSH had risen and testosterone levels had dropped. I had only had a similar test 3 months previous to starting the SWF and the difference was noticeable.
has anyone had similar side effects or heard of anything like this??
