i buy my KI directly from the manufacturer. it is certified ACS, a purity that cuts the impurity numbers in certified USP in half.

the water is distilled in my own machine. there are no buffers, no fillers - nothing besides KI and H2O.

i follow exacting measurements using an ohaus triple beam dial-a-gram scale. there is one gram of KI in each ml of solution - standard Saturated Solution of Potassium Iodide.
