Re: Questions about the safety of water fasting (edit)

Tons of people ie the whole alternative community as well as anyone who scoffs as traditional doctors in training (me personally) always questions and blames the drug companies for killing and making people more ill by feeding them drugs.

But you have to remember that a lot of these people are lazy, and don't really want to fast or eat correctly etc to lower their blood pressure and would rather be doped up with meds.

Sad but true.

and serious question, what about liver flushes? slightly OT perhaps but I tried one ( I believe the one with the oil) and all it did was make me sick and no more, but then I see people in that forum after fasting doing these flushes and getting these stones out or whatever. Have you ever done a flush? and why would they say it may produce stones under the general forum if it really hasn't? and do you even think its a 'must' or advised rather after a water fast?
