diet with bread, rice, potato, is it useless?

im pretty sure that i have some candida problems. i have been trying to go on a short candida diet 'my way' to see if i see any improvement.

i cut out all sugar and all fruit. but i am still eating stuff like pasta, potato, bread, rice, oatmeal and such. im taking oregano oil and olive leaf with this diet.

is this beneficial at all, or am i just basicly waisting my time?
