        I had an episode of shingles on the chest about 6 years ago at around age 38. It is not pleasant and can be quite painful. I did not do anything for it, except for having it tested, and it went away in about 6 weeks. The docs wanted me to take an anti viral but I didn't; I just let the body deal with it.

        I think zapping is a very good idea. I too since have heard that zapping can deal with it. Do you have a zapper you could lend her?

        The other suggestions are to take echinecha and vitamin C or any other immune boosters, and to lower stress.
